Part 30

Hinata's POV:

I looked up and saw blood everywhere. I looked up at Kageyama who had blood dripping from his head. I panicked and backed away before he closed his eyes and blacked out.

His Dad: Shit shit shit shit!

Me: Is he going to be ok?

His Dad: Stay here I'm gonna go call 911

The way he was talking made me panic. Is Kageyama gonna be ok? I sat there holding him in my lap worried if he was ok. About 5 minutes later I hear sirens and look down at Kageyama.

Me: Please Kageyama don't give up

As I said that the paramedics ran up the stairs and put him on a stretcher. I tried to stand but couldn't. One of the paramedics carried me and helped me down the stairs and walked outside to the ambulance where we all sat.

Paramedic: What's your name son?

Me: M- me?

Paramedic: Yes

Me: Sh- Shoyo Hinata

Paramedic: *writes something down* And who's this?

His Dad: I'm his dad *looks at Kageyama*

Paramedic: Ok and what's his name?

Me: Tobio Kageyama

Paramedic: How old is he?

Me: 16

Paramedic: How old are you?

Me: 16

She writes some stuff down on a piece of paper while I look out the back window. Someone from the front came to the back where we were and grabbed stuff from a cabinet and started looking at Kageyama's head. The other nurse helped them. Once we got to the hospital I was put in a wheelchair and Kageyama was rushed into surgery. I was put into one of the rooms and layed on the bed.

Doctor: We're going to do a couple tests to make sure that you aren't injured or anything. But before we do, does anything hurt?

Me: Uh well my chest hurts-

Doctor: Where?

Me: *points to ribs*

Doctor: Ok we'll do an x-ray, anything else?

Me: That's it really

Doctor: Ok I'll be right back *leaves*

I layed there alone. It was cold. Lonely and I missed Kageyama. I hated not knowing if he was ok or not. I hated not being there. Once again this was my fault. If I had just gone home with him he wouldn't be in the hospital. 20 minutes go by and I hear a knock at the door. I sit up wincing in pain.

Doctor: Sorry it took me so long to get back I was checking up on the surgery where your friend is

Me: Is he ok?!

Doctor: Y- yeah he should be good, now let's go get that x-ray

I nod my head as she helps me get into the wheelchair. She wheels me into a different room where she had me lay down on this table. The giant machine did what it was supposed to.

Me: Can I see Kageyama?

Doctor: He's in surgery you can't until he wakes up

Me: But what if he doesn't wake up!? Like last time!

Doctor: I understand that your worried about your friend-

Me: Boyfriend

Doctor: Oh ok I understand that your worried about him but he's in good hands and should recover soon

I looked down as she wheeled me back to my room. I sit up on the bed.

Doctor: Ok so it does seem like you broke three ribs but as long as you don't do anything dumb they should heal quickly

Me: Thank you

She walks out and I lay down. I close my eyes and end up falling asleep.

I get up and walk up to the roof. When I climbed the stairs I opened the door and looked around. And see Kageyama sitting on the edge. I walk over and tap his shoulder. He turns his head around and looks at me. He doesn't say anything. I kneel down beside him and place my hand on his back.

Me: What's wrong Kageyama?

Kageyama: I didn't want him to hurt you *voice cracks* I- I tried so hard but I failed you and I'm sorry

I notice the blood on the ground and my eyes go wide. I start to panic.

Kageyama: But he's in jail now so I guess that's good *looks down at the ground*

Me: Why are you up here Kags?

Kageyama: I want to see the sunset one last time *weak smile*

My heart sank. What did he mean by that?

Me: W- What?

Kageyama: *stands up and turns to face me*

Me: Kageyama?

Kageyama: I love you idiot *ruffles my hair*

Me: Kageyama?!

Kageyama: *leans back*

Me: Kageyama!!

Kageyama leans back and falls off the building. I lean over the edge screaming his name.
