TRIGGER WARNING ABUSE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE PARTS

Kageyama's POV:

*The night he snuck out or current time*

Me: Hey! You! Why are you standing in the road?! You don't want to get hit do you?!

The figure turns around and looks at me. They then turn back around and start running. I chase after them. When I make it to the spot that they were standing I notice blood on the ground. I looked up and they were gone. I see a trail of blood and follow it. It started to rain so I tried to hurry. The blood trail stops by an alleyway. I hesitate before walking forward. I feel someone grab my leg and jump. I look down and see a small orange haired boy holding onto my leg. I crouch down and lift his head. His nose was bleeding and he was all beat up.

Me: Damn it Hinata what happened?

Hinata: Don't leave please

He wraps his arms around me. He was shaking. I take my hoodie off and give it to him. He puts it on. I sit down next to him and put my arm around him.

Me: What happened? Who did this to you? Was it those kids again?-

Hinata: N- no

Me: Then who the hell did this to you?!

He flinched a bit after I raised my voice. What happened? I just want to know. Who would hurt him like this? He has bruises on his face and is all scratched up. His lip was busted and bleeding. I felt my blood begin to boil but tried to contain my anger.

Me: You can tell me it's ok

Hinata: If I tell you, y- you'll just get angry I- I don't want to drag you into this

Then it hit me. His dad must have come home.

Me: Did you dad come home?

Hinata: *hugs me tighter*

Me: That bastard!

Hinata: Kageyama please calm down!

I looked down and he was holding onto me tight and crying into my shirt. I couldn't get upset now, I needed to help Hinata first.

Me: *takes deep breath* Is he still at your house?

Hinata: Y- yeah

Me: Ok then we'll go back to my house. I'll clean those cuts of yours after you shower and get warmed up, I'll give you some clothes and we can watch a movie until you fall asleep

Hinata: What about the practice game tomorrow? *looks up at me*

Me: Forget about it I'll text Daichi and tell him what's going on and why you won't make it, he'll understand

Hinata: Y- you sure?

Me: Yeah now let's head back to my house

I help him up and put my arm around him as we walk to my house. It was still raining and it got pretty cold but I was more worried about Hinata and if he was alright. When we get closer to my house I see my dad standing outside.

My Dad: Kageyama! Why are you out here?

Me: I don't know I wanted to go see Hinata but on my way I found him all beat up

My Dad: *looks at Hinata* Oh my, here I'm going to get some towels you too come in and wait-

Me: *walks in with Hinata*

While me and Hinata waited for my dad to come down with towels I stood there with Hinata still with my arm around him. Why would someone hurt their kid? I don't understand what goes through someone's head.

My Dad: Here you go *hands me and Hinata a towel* You too warm up while I make some hot chocolate-

Me: You don't have to I was going to clean up the cuts on his body and then make him shower so he could warm up

My Dad: Well ok then

Me and Hinata walk upstairs to the bathroom. He sits on the toilet while I grab a med kit. This brought back the time when those bullies hurt him. But I couldn't get upset now I needed to stay calm.

Me: *cleans a cut*

Hinata: Ow! That hurts you know!

Me: Well I'm sorry for trying to help you!

Hinata:

Me: Sorry I'm just upset by all this

Hinata: Your fine

Me: How long has your dad been home?

Hinata: A couple weeks now

Me: When did he start um you know

Hinata: Today when I got home

Me: Was that the first time?

Hinata: Well since he came back yeah

Me: *takes deep breath* Ok I'm done now you shower and I'll bring you some dry clothes and when your done you can either go back to my room or come downstairs

Hinata: Thank you *hugs me*

Me: *smiles* Your welcome now shower

I walk out and shut the door behind me. I go to my room and grab some clothes for him. It was hard because most of my pants were too big for him. I grab clothes that would fit him and head back to the bathroom. I knock and open the door. I keep my eyes closed.

Me: My eyes are closed by the way but here are some clothes that I hope will fit if not then I don't know *sets them down*

Hinata: Thanks

I turn around and leave shutting the door behind me. I go back to my room and dry off taking my wet clothes off. I change into a pair of black sweatpants and a t-shirt. I use my towel and dry my hair. I throw the towel into the basket and head downstairs. I go to the kitchen and grab a drink (AN: Yes it's milk lol)

My Dad: What happened to Hinata?

Me: I guess his dad came back and today something happened and he hurt Hinata

My Dad: Why was Hinata out? Like why was he wondering about by himself

Me: Not sure

My Dad: Hm

Me: What?

My Dad: Oh nothing well I'm gonna go to bed don't think about leaving this house again without telling me first

Me: Yup

My dad walks upstairs and to where I'm guessing to his room. I finish my drink and head upstairs where I see Hinata laying on the floor.

Me: Hinata? You good?

He didn't say anything. I couch next to him and look at him. His eyes were shut so I figured he was sleeping. But why on the floor? And he didn't even have his shirt on. I shook him gently and he didn't wake up.
