. . .
- Travis has night terrors about Luke - he had been a huge mentor to him and Connor, and nobody really thought about the effect it had on the brothers. Everyone had been focused on Annabeth and Thalia, which was fair, but Travis suffered hugely from the trauma of his big brother betraying them all. Katie (aside from Connor) is the only one who listens to him about it, even after all these years. When he wakes up screaming or scrambling off his bed, he goes to the Demeter cabin to sleep with Katie, who comforts him to the best of her abilities.
- Katie isn't really good with words, but she's the one to officially ask Travis out because she's sick of beating around the bush. She stumbles over her wording until Travis bursts out into a prolific recap, and she nods and says, "Yeah, that."
- She's also the first to say "I love you" - after two months of dating, she gets sick of waiting and shouts it at him across the pavilion at breakfast.
- Travis grins and says, "About time, Katie-kat!" and goes back to eating. (He later confirms that he feels the same.)
- Connor always swears up and down that he never wants to hear anything about Travis and Katie's relationship, but after their first date, he demands to know every single detail.
- Travis calls him an Aphrodite kid.
- Miranda, on the other hand, actually doesn't want to hear a peep. She gets grossed out by all the fluffy stuff they do, and besides, she claims that she's known all along that they were meant to be together. Any time Katie says something about Travis, Miranda interrupts her by saying, "I told you so."
- Katie never wants to admit it, but her and Travis basically share a brain. They keep saying things at the same time during counselor meetings, they get the same food at the pavilion, and they even show up to campfires wearing the same colors.
- When they start dating, Katie says she wants to travel the world, and Travis says she's lucky she's with a son of the god of travelers. Over the winter break of their first year together, he pulls some strings and they go to France, just the two of them.
- Katie says she doesn't know how he'll top that for their other anniversaries.
- Travis asks, "There'll be other anniversaries?"
- They have many more anniversaries.
- Travis' eyes shift with his mood. Sometimes, they're a light, bubbly sky blue; other times, they're nearly gray and stormy.
- Katie's are always the same brilliant green, but they can hold the fires of Mordor when she's mad.
- Travis finds that super hot.
- Katie is a cat person, but Travis is allergic and prefers dogs. So, they settle on getting a Sphynx cat and a Goldendoodle. Travis can't look at the hairless cat without cracking up and he calls it Gollum even though her name is Flora.
- The Goldendoodle they have is named Galahad (by request of Travis, who is quite fond of goofy names). Galahad and Travis are best friends, and Katie thinks it's adorable because Travis takes him out on walks and plays fetch every chance he gets.
- One night, Katie comes home late from work to find Galahad in her place in bed, and Travis cuddled up to him. She smiles before shoving Travis off the bed to take his place.
