NOVA AND OBI-WAN WALKED THROUGH THE white corridors looking down into the large rooms full of clones developing. "very impressive," obi-wan mused to lama su looking around. "i'd hoped you would be pleased, clones can think creatively, you will find they are immensely superior to droids," the kaminoan prime minister started, before continuing to explain the clones and what they are currently doing to speed up the whole process.
as much as nova was interested in what he was saying, seeing a fully grown clone sitting made her feel suddenly nervous. the face of the clones was so familiar to the ex-bounty hunter but she couldn't put her finger on who it was exactly. "and who was the original host?" nova asked her curiosity getting the best of her. "a bounty hunter called jango fett," lama su told her, and it instantly hit her. she mutter a string of curses under her breath while obi-wan questioned further about the said bounty hunter. if she ran into the bounty hunter, her padawan cover story would be blown, and the terms she left her profession weren't the best.
"i should very much like to meet this jango fett," obi-wan said, despite feeling the overwhelming amount of fear from nova but he had to get to the bottom of this whole ordeal so the council knew what was going on. "i would be very happy to arrange it for you," the other kaminoan spoke nodding slightly. the pair walked onto the balcony over looking the mass amount of clones in formation walking into transports. nova sent obi-wan a sceptical look, "well kenobi, this isn't what i was expecting,"
nova and obi-wan moved away from the platform and back into the halls, "if you excuse me, i need to speak with my master for two seconds," she smiled politely, emphasising on the word master mockingly. the two kaminoans nodded before walking off a bit further away from the two. "listen, i can't go see jango fett, he'll recognise me immediately and the way i left didn't make many people happy," she spoke lowly to the jedi moving closer towards him. he nodded understanding and placed his hand on her arm comfortingly, "i understand, go back to the ship if you want and wait for me there," he spoke softly, sending chills down her back as she noticed how close they suddenly were.
nova cleared her throat taking a step back once realising their close proximity, "be careful kenobi," she muttered and he chuckled lightly, "always darling, now go," obi-wan sent her a reassuring smile watching her walk in the opposite direction towards the exit.
nova sighed watching the rain hit against the glass of the window violently. it wasn't a long wait however and soon enough obi-wan appeared from the doors walking hurriedly through the rain to his own ship. he sent a hand up towards her telling her to wait in the ship, with a roll of her eyes she nodded and stayed put. she watched the jedi transmit a call, shouting in the heavy rain. the ex-bounty hunter studied her old jedi's face from afar, noticing how mature he now looked compared to when they first met all those years ago.
once he was finished his message he waved her over so they could go back inside for while. she braved herself for the rain once again before running back into the kaminoan base with obi-wan.

obi-wan informed nova of the small interaction him and jango fett had, they both agreed that he was a suspicious character. obi-wan had the feeling he was going to run, so they both ran out of the building back into the pouring rain only to see jango fett and his son about to board a ship.
"dad look!" boba exclaimed pointed to the jedi and ex-bounty hunter who were both drawing their weapons. obi-wan's blue lightsaber glowing in the dark while nova grasped her blaster in one hand and small dagger in the other. obi-wan skilfully dodged all of jango's shots while nova fired her own aim straight for the bounty hunter.
jango flew up continuing to fire shots, before hiding behind one of the large pillars. obi-wan and nova walked backwards, keeping a look out for jango - obi-wan keeping his lightsaber in front while nova got ready to throw one of her daggers towards the bounty hunter. a blast came down from the tower sending the pair back with a heavy force. nova's tight grasp on her weapons loosened causing them to slid away. she let out a pain grunt, her vision dotting in and out as she watched more blasts leave the ship and head straight towards her and obi-wan.
she huffed loudly rolling out of the way before the blasts could hit her and cause anymore damage. her head ached but she grabbed her gun from the ground before trying to locate her dagger, "little shit," she cursed seeing jango's son at the window of the ship, in anger she fired at few shots at the window of the ship before turning her attention to her jedi friend who was currently fighting the bounty hunter. nova ran quickly towards them shotting at jango but her headache was putting her aim off, "watch out!" she shouted watching jango grapple onto obi-wan's hands while he reached to get his lightsaber back.
nova watched obi-wan get pulled through the air before wrapping around the pillar to stop himself from moving anymore. she turned her attention back onto to finding her knife - nova scanned the area to see if it had landed any where near her but to no luck she couldn't find it. a loud explosion turned her head, jango's jetpack had caused the blast, she watched obi-wan run towards the bounty hunter and kick him in the chest resulting in the pair sliding down the side of the kaminoan building. "obi!" she exclaimed sprinting over. she watched them slide down the building until they both disappeared from sight.
nova readied her blaster as she waited for one of them to hopefully emerge back to the top. the first one back was jango who had stood defensively in front of her. "so you're working with the jedi now. pathetic," jango spoke his hand on his own blaster, "you've been hiding away getting other people to do your job, i would say that's pathetic,"
jango scoffed at her words, raising his blaster mirrioring her stance. "you never were fully committed that's why you left after one bad mission," he retorted pulling the trigger, nova moved out of the way just in time. he shot another two times, nova did her best to dodge but the third blast left a deep graze on her arm. she let out a groan of pain watching jango run to his ship.
obi-wan emerged from the doors watching jango's ship begin to take off, he threw a tracker hitting the side of his ship before making his way up to nova who was stood holding her arm in pain. "are you alright?" obi-wan asked placing a gentle hand on her arm, she looked up to meet his eyes, her dark hair soaked and sticking to her face. "just a graze," she smiled keeping the eye contact with the jedi.
