Ok. I'm tempted to make you read that chapter again. Just. Because. I. Am. So. CRUEL! MWAHAHAHAHA!
Go back and read the whole thing again!
I'm waiting...
By the way, I visited the Stanley Hotel. Didn't see any supernatural beings or orbs and I was kind of disappointed.
Oh well.
Ok. IF, and only IF, you have read that part again, you may continue.

And all hell broke loose.
Blaze's four hooves seemed to spring up at the same time and Gilan felt like he was riding a wild roller coaster. What a roller coaster was, he had no idea. It was one of those things that you just made up as you were going along.
Meanwhile, Blaze was twisting, bucking and causing amusement for Abelard as she tried to get the heavy sack of potatoes off her back. The 'heavy sack of potatoes' was flying head over heels milliseconds later.

"What were you trying to do, kill me?" He asked the horse and pushed her questioning muzzle away.
'Why were you doing that?' She seemed to say with innocent eyes. Turning his accusing looks to Halt, he said,
"You knew that was going to happen, didn't you?"

" Maybe," was the everlasting monotone of Halt's voice.
"They all have a code phrase! Abelard's code phrase is permittez moi? And it's Gallican." Old Bob informed him.

" So what's Blaze's code phrase then?"
" Why don't you see if you can catch her first?" Halt said.
"Nu uh. I'm not letting you trick me into that."
"Ye caught yurselves a smart one there, Halt!" Old Bob commented.
" What's his code phrase?" He said impatiently. A questioning eyebrow was raised at him.
"Him?"
" Her. Fine. Now would you mind telling me?"
" Brown eyes." Old Bob said.
" Yes I know I have brown eyes, now what's her code phrase?"
" Brown eyes," Halt replied simply.
" Brown...Eyes?" He repeated in a questioning tone.

" Not to me, the horse!" Old Bob and Halt cracked up.

Walking cautiously to Blaze he was watching for flying hooves. But none came. He whispered in her ear: "Brown Eyes."
He then hopped up onto her back, muscles tensed, bracing for the seemingly inevitable flying experience. But none came. " Take her for a ride!"

When he lightly tapped his heels into her sides, she seemed to come alive. Bounding and leaping with seemingly endless grace, she hopped over the ditch. To her, it was the everyday exercise. To Gilan, it was anything but. He was sure she was flying.

" That... Was... Amazing!"
They spent the rest of the day learning the commands that all Ranger horses learned so well.
Halt was getting hungry, though. He challenged Gilan to a race home.
" Blaze will run Abelard into the ground!" Halt smiled.
" Good luck then..."
