I woke up to a jump of shouting and screaming outside. All of us got up and ran right outside of our room to see that everyone was running outside with knives and guns. I followed them all, even though everyone tried their best to hold me back. I ran right outside to see about 30-50 werewolves running around fighting. I was separated from everyone, and I was standing alone for a minute as everyone ran around me to fight. My eyes widened.
I jumped to feel Ken’s hand on my shoulder.
“It’s nowhere near safe here,” he said loudly for me to hear him over all the gunshots and the roars of the werewolves.
“Kenny,” I heard someone shout. The voice was so innocent and familiar.
My head and Ken’s head darted to the side, and I see Kenny struggling with Marcus to protect my mother. I saw another one to start to come up on her. I couldn’t think of any better way to react. Ken was weighed down by a rifle around his neck and heavy armor. I took off running toward them.
“Jenny,” Ken shouted.
I ran right up in front of my mother as the werewolf decided to take a swing at her, but instead, the big monster swung at me and launched me sideways as his claws dug deep into my stomach. It was a hard blow. It felt like someone just rammed me with an oncoming train.
I was flying back the way I came from and I hit the ground hard, continuing to roll across the ground. I thought I was rolling forever and ever, but then I came to a stop right up against a bush.
I was woozy. I was weak. I thought I was dying. I was lying on my right side, and I was facing away from everybody in combat. I relaxed my entire body, but I could feel the blood drip down from my stomach to my side.
“Jenny,” somebody shouted as they ran up beside me and put their hand on my side and rolled me onto my back. “oh Jenny,” they said again. No doubt it was my mother.
Everybody ran up to me. My mom, Kenny, Ken, and Marcus. My eyes were slightly open, looking at them, but my eyes began rolling behind my head and the pain was fighting me.
Ken scooped me off the ground, and he lifted me off my feet, and carried me back inside. “Stay with us Jenny,” Ken said softly.
He ran me inside, and took me through a few rooms, where I saw a hospital bed, and I was lied down on one.
“Resistance,” Ken snapped at four different vampire medics. They have nose plugs on so they have to breathe through their mouths. Their fangs were filed down quite a bit, and I was super anxious. “If I see one of you guys go take a bite out of her, I’ll make sure you’ll all regret it!”
Every vampire in the room nodded, then there was a sharp pain running through me. All through my veins, making my heart pound faster.
They tore off my shirt, and tied down my arms to the side of the bed. The werewolf scratch marks were bloody. I closed my eyes and began crying of the pain.
One of them ran off to a few shelve and grabbed two needles, and one jar of gel. When he ran back, one of them stuck the needle in my neck, and parts of my stomach started feeling numb, then they started rubbing gel all over my stomach. All I felt was an unbearable burning sensation all across my stomach, to all the way around my back.
