Kambe Daisuke now stands in a large room that displays all the activities, until Katou Haru's condition is now being guarded by Kanbe Suzue and one of the Kambe family supervisors. Daisuke didn't allow anyone who wasn't Haru's acquaintance or mother to visit. His hands were folded, wincing.
"Looks like Daisuke-san is getting interested in Haru-san."
Daisuke turned around when he heard his grandmother's voice. "It's been a while since I've heard from him."
Daisuke who saw him smiled raised an eyebrow. "You know Katou?"
Daisuke's grandmother, Kambe Kikuko chuckled. "Only you who forget him here, Daisuke-san."
The man widened his eyes. "So, it's true ... I feel familiar with him."
Kikuko nodded slightly. "It's because you two are good friends. But because of what happened to your mother and father, we have to cut all connections to protect them, also protect you who are the successors."
Daisuke frowned. "So that's why Katou..."
Kikuko nodded again. "You saved him, Daisuke-san." He saw the grandmother looking at him gently.
"Naturally now, he wants to save you. He wants to repay you."
Daisuke looked up, found Haru's still unconscious and closed his eyes.
"Katou ... Haru."
Suzue, who informed Daisuke that there were already signs that Haru would wake up, made him immediately go to the hospital. Regardless of the class he was supposed to attend, Haru's existence was more important than anything now. Daisuke wanted to remember all about him that he forgot where Haru remembered all about him.
Suzue invited him in when he arrived, and saw Haru slowly opening his eyes. Daisuke felt an immense relief that couldn't be described by mere words.
Haru found Daisuke looking at him worriedly before smiling. "Yo, Kambe."
Daisuke smiled, a smile that Haru would normally recognize. "Is there anything you need?"
Haru chuckled. "I just woke up and that's what you ask? You don't change, Kambe." Daisuke sighed softly before grabbing a chair to sit beside Haru's bed.
"You don't have class, Kambe?"
Daisuke snorted. "I'm too smart for that."
Haru felt resentment rising inside him, but he knew that now Daisuke was like that.
"Then what about that shooter? Are you trying to track him down with your money and great technology?"
Daisuke smiled as Haru said in a mocking tone. "Looks like he was after me since he tried to injure my mother and kidnap my father."
Haru winced when Daisuke talked about his parents. "Your mother, still not conscious?"
Daisuke was silent before shaking his head. "Not yet. Looks like shock or trauma made her sleep for a long time."
Haru blinked. "Then your father?"
Daisuke shook his head again. "I haven't gotten any leads for my father, and all I have is his missing data."
Haru nodded. "I know I might be meddling without your knowledge."
Daisuke looked up at the smiling Haru. "But the data I got with the medical doctor I have shared with Suzue-san. You can trace it together. I hope to find the last traces of your father besides yours."
Daisuke frowned. He grabbed Haru's hand which was bigger than him. "Why do you have to do it for me..."
Haru grabbed Daisuke's hand that touched his. "Because you saved me, now, it's my turn to save you."
