Kanbe Suzue, who is now in his own residence in one of the British territories, to help with the good energy project submitted to him by Kambe Daisuke and Katou Haru, finds his parents coming to him.

"How is Mahoro-san, Suzue?"

"Ah, she is doing fine, mother."

"Hmph, why do you and Kambe have to break off the engagement for the sake of this relationship that doesn't deserve to happen?"

"Father!"

Suzue frowned at her father's disapproval of her relationship with Saeki Mahoro. Unlike Daisuke's parents, Shigemaru and Sayuri, who support him to be able to live and be happy with Haru. Suzue's two cheeks are now held tightly by her mother like a mochi cake. She remembered what it was like to hold Saeki's adorable cheek, who was always full because she saw her so enthusiastically and happily enjoying sweet food to the candy in her hand. Suzue also remembered that sometimes Daisuke received Saeki's favorite candies from her.

Suzue smiled with love from her mother, which was similar to Saeki's concern. She touched that soft hand.

"Thank you, mom."

At the police headquarters, Haru and Daisuke who were working saw the usually cheerful Saeki looking sad. She neither spoke at all nor enjoyed the sweet food. Haru got up from his chair and made Daisuke follow his steps. He approached Saeki who seemed to be looking blankly ahead.

"Saeki-san?"

"Huh? Ah, Haru-san."

Haru frowned. "Are you okay? It's very unusual, I didn't hear your cheerful voice."

"Eh!? I-I'm fine! Always cheerful!"

Haru frowned even more in worry, when Saeki forced herself to do it, so as not to make Haru who was staring at her now worry too. Haru got up.

"Want to accompany me for lunch?"

"Eh?"

Haru pointed out the window. "Every now and then, we eat at that café together."
