Enslaved. Kidnapped. Trapped. Was that what Mark did to Donghyuck? No. More like forced marriage. A toxic relationship. That's what happened. One month ago, rich heirs Donghyuck and Minhyung were arranged to marry each other by their parents, owners of Stonebrook Entertainment and Fantasia Co. in order to merge the two companies for the better. Although Minhyung, who's more commonly known as Mark, enjoyed the arranged marriage, Donghyuck thought differently. Mark had actually had a very little crush on Donghyuck because of his kind personality, but it turned to something bigger. Love. But like I said, Donghyuck though differently.

Donghyuck was not gay, nor bisexual. No way, he was hetero all the way! He had a girlfriend for crying out loud! This arranged marriage was bullshit, he thought. He thought Mark wouldn't take this marriage seriously, but to his surprise and disgust, Mark did. Not only that, but Mark had bought them a huge house with a butler and all! Donghyuck has vowed that, from that day forwards, he would make Mark's life as miserable as possible and ignore him completely. And that's what had been happening for one month.

"Jeno! Can you please come into my room?" Mark calls out from his room as he paces around his room.

"Yes Young Master?" Jeno enters the room as Mark had asked and watches Mark worriedly pace the room back and forth.

"Is Donghyuck at school safely?"

"Yes, of course he is, but aren't you supposed to be at work? Your parents said today you need to meet up with the new band group to tell them about their debut. They're expecting you." Jeno tells Mark, surprised that Mark didn't say anything about him calling him 'Young Master' instead of Mark.

"Shit. Shit. Shit. I need to go for them now! But... is Donghyuck okay? Ugh! I'll go check the group first, they're debuting tomorrow!"

"I'll send someone to check on him right now to see if he is safe." Jeno says, immediately leaving the room to call his boyfriend to check if Donghyuck is doing well.

Mark runs downstairs and hops inside his car, a Toyota Camry, because he didn't feel the need to flex his wealth. Mark steps on the gas and begins driving to Stonebrook Entertainment, his thoughts clouding his mind. Why did he have to love Donghyuck? Why him out of all people?! And when Donghyuck made his life miserable, why couldn't he find himself hating Donghyuck for it?! Why?! Maybe tonight Mark will end up hating him.

Donghyuck walks home from school, which isn't that far away. He prays that Mark wouldn't be home, because then he would invite Mira, his girlfriend, home so that they could make love. If Mark was there, things would bound to become annoying. As Donghyuck enters the house, he smells something slightly burning in the kitchen and an exasperated sigh. He groans. Mark was trying to cook again for the third time this week.

"Ow! Ow... J-Jeno?" Donghyuck hears Mark sniffle in the kitchen. Donghyuck walks near the kitchen, so he can look inside. Donghyuck sees tears slowly rolling down Mark's eyes as he holds his finger which seems to be bleeding. ALOT. Donghyuck watches Jeno run over to him.

"Maybe you shouldn't have tried to cook Mark, kind of stupid. You already know you're incapable of cooking." Donghyuck retorts and walks into his room, which is separate from Mark's. Mark begins crying even more. But deep inside, Donghyuck feels a ping in his chest. Why was he being so mean to someone who was doing everyone for him? Donghyuck quickly shakes away the thought and continues walking.

"Don't cry Young Master, it's going to be alright." Jeno soothes Mark.

"T-that's not why I'm crying. I-it's just no matter what he does, I-I can't seem to hate him..." Mark cries into Jeno's shoulder as Jeno grabs the first aid kit in the kitchen and begins to dress Mark's wound.

"Why couldn't he just refuse my parents, does it hurt him that much to say no?!" Donghyuck huffs in bed. He falls asleep without eating dinner.
