Niki rarely got mad, she was raised to be kind. She tried to stay calm when she first say Tommy with the thick yellow scarf covering his neck. She knew he would overheat if he wore that and the uniform but she considered that it might comfort him after the betrayal so she complimented him. When he only answered by opening his comm and quickly typing a message to her she almost broke.

She was angry now more than ever. How dare they take away the one thing Tommy truly cared about, Tubbo. How dare Tubbo accept. She smiled at him, holding in her endless anger. He walked off towards Wilbur who was waiting and Niki hurried back to her base.

Pulling out numerous ingredients she began baking. She found that baking was calming at a young age but as she kneaded he dough she found herself still angry. She took a deep breath as she placed the bread into the furnace. Pulling out more ingredients from her hests she mixed together multiple mushrooms and meats.

She needed to calm down she wouldn't be angry she was taught not to be. She just needed to be calm to be nice. Niki was good, she was kind, she was nice. She had been raised specifically to be all these things. Mixing the ingredients over the furnace's warmth she thought of all the nice things she had around her.

Wilbur was nice, he had nice hair and she felt safe with him near, she was lucky to have him she thought. Tommy was nice, he was always prepared to defend those he cared about, she was happy he was there. Fundy was nice, he added humor and kindness that not many could pull off, she was fortunate that he decided to follow after his father Wilbur and transfer servers. Eret was nice, she had a big heart and an even bigger smile and a laugh that was contagious, Niki was very glad that they were fighting with her. Jack was nice, he would often sing songs during dinner which only made the others sing them too, Niki was happy that they were friends. Niki loved her friends she loves them to death.

She grew up on a very small survival server in a medieval based world. She only had one other person her age growing up and they left as soon as they could leaving Niki alone. Niki was endlessly happy to be apart of something this big to fight for freedom with her friends. She was happy she even had them.

Taking the soup off the furnace she poured it into two bowls and saved the rest for later. Walking to the hot dog van and opening the door she was greeted with a Wilbur with his head in his hands sitting at the desk.

"Will?" She asked quietly as she set down the bowls on the desk. Wilbur's head shot up from his hands and he tensed before he noticed who it was and relaxed again.

"Hello Niki," he pulled the bowl of soup close.

"Will, I want you to teach me how to fight," Niki's voice was soft, it always was but I held a sense of finality in her tone.

"No, my nation is a peaceful one,"

"Yes you will, and it's not your nation it's our nation you might be a leader but I am a citizen and more importantly a soldier, I want to protect our nation and our friends and family, you are not the only person in this nation, you are one, if you don't teach me then I will find someone who will," Niki's accent was thicker than usual as she copied her father's speech pattern. Niki's father was a great leader so whenever Niki truly wanted something her accent became slightly more pronounced and her tone harsher. She was sure she would get this training whether she got it from Wilbur or if she got it from elsewhere.

"Alright then, I'll train you, but you can only use it in self-defense, we are a peaceful nation and a peaceful people," Wilbur said after a bite of soup.

"Thank you," Niki's tone shifted back to her normal softer tone. The soup was good and the dinner she shared with Wilbur was as well. She was glad that things had gone her way. She wanted to be able to protect her friends she wouldn't have another incident like today, she'd make sure of it.

Taking the empty bowls back to her base she laid in bed. She was happy to finally be able to truly help but she was upset that it had taken Tubbo's betrayal for it to truly happen. She has a lot of work to do if she wants to keep everyone safe she thought to herself as her fox curled up next to her on the bed. She'd worry about it tomorrow though after all planning takes time and she had quite a few plans to make.

AN; Sorry there wasn't a chapter yesterday I'm planning out the election and rebellion fic but I needed to know who Dream was siding with before I could decide how to plan it properly.
