Chapter Four

"Peter fumed and shouted Nate's name loudly then jumped on Eric and started punching him for a second or two before he was knocked out by Shambugu, when he regained consciousness he saw blood everywhere and the butler lying next to him lifeless. A tear rolled down his cheek, He got up and started yelling to see his son but all he got were two gun holes pointed at his face demanding him to calm down, when his heart stopped racing he saw Nate asleep next to Abel."

"He had a puzzled look as to who was shot next and Cain noticed that and pointed next to where he was lying there was a large deer shot in the head; a relief they actually hunted something. Eric told him to take it to his home and have it for dinner the next day after formally closing the case, burning the evidence and setting him free from persecution."

Atticus stopped talking and told Adrianna to continue as she was the only one who knew how her husband was feeling the moment he stepped back inside his home. She told him she won't continue the story until the bodies were thrown off her house. Caleb finally got some strength to get up and picked two big nylon bags which they normally use for garbage and put them on the floor, put some gloves on and with the help of his little brother dumped the bodies outside on their lawn.

When they got back, Caleb was still pissed as to why Atticus was holding his mother and brother hostage and confronted him, threw a punch but the receiver didn't seem to feel it so he just went back to his chair and sat down, Atticus asked Gabe if he too wanted to punch him, but he got a cold look from the young man so Adrianna sighed out loudly and decided to continue the story that could inspire the family to exact revenge.

"Peter got home looking rather depressing and after dropping Nate on his bed, fixed himself a glass of scotch and drank silently, I went to him and asked what was bothering his beautiful head and held him to his favorite armchair, he sat down and I started playing slowly with his hair which he always adored. He turned to look at me deeply then confessed everything about his friendship with a crime boss and the kind of dilemma he is in and how stupid he had been to end up involving his family and the danger that has befallen all of us and his butler."

"Your father got up and called the butler sons and told them about his death, cause of death being that he was mugged and shot when he had gone out to complete his shopping, there was crying from the other side of the call and he thanked them for letting a great man work with him; they came the next day to pick his body."

"The Harrison family paid for the burial and any expenses the butlers family could face for a year or two, they fully appreciated that and it actually made him happy inside. After the burial they sat down and planned strategies on how to sort this major problem plaguing their lives, lawyers needed enough evidence to put him behind bars and his family needed the cities best security firm at their disposal."

"All the planning didn't go well as you all know; your father and four of his best lawyers were executed in their office as they were working late a year after, all evidence was burnt into ashes and witnesses disappeared the next day. The case had been guarded so much that after the killings had happened, the officials didn't even know who the top people at the firm were working to apprehend, so the case died slowly" Adrianna summarized.

Eric Roberts went underground knowing how cruel he has become, Adrianna became lonely and decided to go rebuild the Harrisons law firm handling less dangerous cases, Caleb joined the Agency and has been on numerous problems with the assassins running the city. Nate went and joined the army, he's been on one mission after another and Gabe got his trust fund when he was 18 and has been living large with partying late nights and in the company of pretty women.

"The only time we were happy was during my wedding where everyone came, since then it's been 5years since I saw my brother Nate" Caleb claimed and Gabe added rather furiously, "no one misses Nate anymore, he can go ahead and die in the middle east for leaving us alone."

Adrianna scolded him and he left the table not caring if Atticus would shoot him, then stopped and asked if the car outside was his and when he replied in the affirmative, he shot the question everyone wanted to ask, "who the fuck are you then?"

Caleb was surprised and replied, "Gabe, haven't you figured it out? Mom was harmless with this guy in here, she actually took all the knives from the table so that he was safe from me as I would have attacked him as soon as I had a chance, also shot the two goons he came with and has a lot of knowledge concerning our dead father, this is our brother, can't you see, this is Nate."

Nathaniel stood up and removed his head cover and Caleb walked up to him and they hugged each other, their mother joined in with tears of joy and after a minute of affection they turned to hear Gabriel's car engine past the gate, he was gone.

Gabriel grew up being inspired by his second brother, but since Nate had gone to the army and Caleb at the agency, he was left growing up alone, thus his anger towards him specifically and the idea of wanting him dead so that he can live through his pain personally.

The three of them sat down and start planning how to deal with the dead guys and Nate decided that it should be left to him to erase all their tracks and go bury them in the woods somewhere, something he has done before numerous times for his current friends and company.

Next, they needed to plan a way to get information of the dealings and whereabouts of Eric Roberts; the head of the gang, Caleb wanted to arrest him while Nate and Adrianna wanted him dead and gone as payback to what he did to their innocent father. Therefore the decision was that he will go back in to collect data and find ways of reaching out to the Agency as an anonymous informer for them and they will take action as soon as possible.

Atticus explained to them that they have people everywhere that's how Eric knew that the case was brought to his father's firm the moment it arrived and also that's how Shambugu got away this morning when he found out you were coming for him. This meant that during their proceedings to never trust anyone, everything including a small piece of information should be labelled as anonymous.

This was the only way they would get to chop the head of the snake, he also reminded them that there will be a lot of killings and it would still hurt them mentally after they succeed and if not at least they will go down as the family which tried.

All was agreed upon and Nate was about to leave when he explained to his brother to not bring his wife back from protective custody, if the plan goes well; they will all leave the country to some other place. Some minutes after he left, Caleb told his mum to plan finances well as they may need millions to continue living their lives, get fake IDs and papers for all of them and buy some houses off islands somewhere far away like Dubai, Seychelles or Mauritius.

Adrianna was amazed about this suggestion but she still knew in her heart that this was a good and risky idea so she approved it and they went to try sleep as they weren't having a very nice night to put it mild. As she was trying to close her eyes, she felt an urge to call Gabe knowing he won't pick up but still left him a short message, "come home son."
