After I came back to my senses, quite literally, All Might told me about the training we were going to be doing.

"Alright, Young Midoriya! It's time for me to explain the training!" All Might started, pulling out a piece of paper which tumbled down to the ground, making me step back a bit so that I could look at it.

"I have planned out an American Dream Plan for you, so you can get extremely fit in no time! No time at all! Unless you count the 10 months you'll be working with me, then NO TIME AT ALL!" All Might yelled the last part, and he was lucky nobody comes down by the beach anymore because of the stench that wafts up from the rubbish, otherwise there'd be a whole crowd of people surrounding us and trying to get All Might's autograph.

I was handed a copy of the plan and read through it, memorising every detail I could.

"This is the American Dream Plan I came up with. You should be able to clean this beach in this amount of time if you stick to the instructions."

Immediately, my brain was calculating how to overwork myself on purpose. Nobody follows instructions anymore, anyway.

And so it began.

My first task was to pull a refrigerator to a truck that All Might had literally bought a week ago.

The only thing was..

All Might was sat on top of it.

Whoo boy. This'll be easy. NOT.

- - -

I pulled the rope tight around the fridge. Hopefully this'll be enough to let me drag it.

I wrapped my hands around the rope tightly, a mistake I would come to regret later.

I heaved the rope towards me, grunting as the rope tightened around my hands.

Snap.

A laugh was heard above me on top of the fridge and I looked up. All Might was chuckling at me with his phone taking pictures.
"ALL MIGHT..!" I exclaimed, turning red and covering my face with my arms. Then I had a bright idea.

I pulled my All Might face, making said man almost drop the phone in shock.
"HOLY- Young Midoriya! I didn't know you could do that!" All Might then started laughing and I got a little flustered so I stopped pulling the face, but not before he got a few pictures.
"These are going to Dave!" All Might teased, only making me even more flustered. I heard a ping and All Might put his phone down.
"Sent!"

"NOOO!"

- - -

I pulled the fridge the last few inches and dropped the rope, falling to the sand and panting. The sun was sinking down to below the horizon and I was glad to watch it disappear slowly. Alas, nothing ever is as I want.

All Might pinched my shirt and stood me up, making me groan.
"Can't I just lay down for a few more minutes...?" I begged, getting a laugh from the giant man who stood next to me.

"No, it's time you get home."

I knocked on my door and it swung open, revealing Mum with a sour look on her face.
"Hi mom-"
"Young man, you have some explaining to do."

Oh shit.

I was half-dragged to the couch and essentially pushed backwards onto it by mum. She was seriously upset.
"Izuku."
This was not going to end well.
"Y-Yes mum..?"

My mum folded her arms and sat opposite me, a scowl on her face. I gulped, hoping this wasn't going to go badly.

"Izuku, why didn't you tell me?" Her tone was cold and sharp, with a hint of sadness mixed in.
"Tell you..?" I hoped it wasn't about All Might.
"About you having a quirk!" Her tone completely switched to a joyous and exciting one, making me jump from theoretical whiplash.
"O-Oh? I thought Mr Eraserhead told you.." I rubbed the nape of my neck and chuckled sheepishly, hearing a sigh from mom.
"Alright, I'll let you off this time, Izuku. I'm also guessing you already told those people on WeCylinder then, since you thought I knew."

I nodded and she smiled before bringing out her phone.
"I'll go and try to understand how you know this then, okay Izuku?"

I nodded and sighed in relief as she walked into her room.

She doesn't actually know.
