"ALRIGHT! TIME FOR THE EXAMS TO BEGIN!"

* * *

It was my turn to race against my group. Luckily, I spotted a pole that I can web onto, and waited for the 'GO' that was about to happen.
"OKAY, GO!"
I shot out my web as I started to sprint, watching it wrap around the pole tightly. I wrapped my hand around it and pulled myself forwards, launching myself right to the end.
The robot sounded as I crossed the line, making me grin with pride. That training really paid off.
"2.17 seconds!"

The second runner arrived approximately 4.26 seconds after me, making a time of 6.43 seconds.

Everyone else arrived closely after.

"Wow, Midoriya right?!" A guy with brown spiky hair at the front of his head and the number 12 plastered on his chest came up to me, a grin on his face, a turquoise boy with horn-like spikes coming from his head and the number 31 on his chest behind him.
"Umm, yeah..!" I replied, turning to face them.

"That was amazing!" The brown-haired guy exclaimed brightly, his eyes glinting with amazement. "What's your quirk?"
I smiled before answering. It felt good to be able to say that I have a quirk.
"It's called Spider. I can do anything a spider can."

The guy seemed to smile brighter at that, taking my wrist and pulling out the string of silk from my wrist.
"Wow, that's so cool!" He ejaculated, his eyes starting to change colour in excitement as he looked at it.
"Y-Yeah, it kinda is.." I mumbled, smiling from ear to ear.
"And you seem to have so much control over it!" The guy continued, surprising me.
"Really?" I asked in surprise. He nodded questioningly. Sighing, I started to explain briefly about my quirk.
"I had something called an 'Invisible Quirk'." I explained, only getting another confused look from both of them. "It's basically where you need a sort of shock or something to fuse DNA with. I was bit by a Brown Recluse Spider, and it's DNA fused with mine- after I fell off a 12-story building, that is."

I laughed a little, remembering the time.
"It was quite a shock when my hand ended up stuck to the hospital bedsheets."

The two guys laughed along with me as I remembered it, my cheeks turning a tint of pink from the embarrassment.

Around 10 minutes later, the two guys had to go and do the second test.

I was called up with my group to test our grip strength, quirks allowed, unlike in middle school.

We were handed the grip-test machines and I waited for the 'GO' once more, my hand waiting to grip the handle as right as possible.

"Alright, group 2! Three, two, one, GO!"

I tightened my grip as hard as possible around the machine, watching the grip strength increase rapidly, only for it to suddenly snap. I jumped backwards in surprise, my jaw hanging open in complete and utter shock.
Everyone else was staring at me in awe, whereas I was internally panicking.
"I-I.. What..?!" I mumbled to myself, leaning down and looking at it. The grip tester had stopped at '14,523'.

President Mic walked over to me, a giant grin plastered onto his face. He was chuckling to himself as he neared me, having seen the worried and shellshocked look on my face.
"Wow kid, no wonder Eraser recommended you..!" He joked, picking up the grip tester and examining it.
"Seems like we'll need to get stronger ones of these."

I nodded and gulped before turning away, not realising what he had said.

The next test was a sense test. You couldn't use your eyes at all, and had to keep them blindfolded while sitting on top of a chair, guarding the object beneath it, which was a small block of metal.
