Reyna was packing her bags for college. She retired from being Praetor and is laying low from the meantime. Education will be good for her and she was meaning to start early before but leading the camp got in the way. She will miss Camp Jupiter with all her heart. This is-was her home. She won't be going to New Rome for College, instead she will travel to other places and pursue a career she knows will be perfect for her.

"Reyna, are you ready?" Dakota asked. Reyna smiled in return. "Yeah, just a few more." She replied.

Dakota walked towards her. "You sure about this? I mean you can study here, it's much safer and would cost less." Dakota joked but you can hear the sincerity in his voice. He already lost a best friend to the Greeks, he doesn't want to lose another one.

Reyna looked at him before sighing. "I'm sure Dakota. I won't be harmed, I promise. Bellona blessed me and Minerva would want me to follow my dreams, as cheesy as that may sound. We might not be able to stay in touch but I can visit from time to time." She insisted.

Dakota stared at her before leaning in to give her a hug and a kiss in the forehead. "Alright then, kiddo. Come on, we don't want to be late." Dakota took Reyna's luggage and began to put it in the car.

Reyna looked at her room for the last time before turning away and never looking back.

The ride to the airport was short but it was enough for Reyna to take a nap. She's been busy lately concerning about things she left behind for the new Praetor named Chloe. She seemed fit to be a leader and has already proven herself to Reyna and fellow Praetor Frank. But that doesn't mean Reyna would stop worrying over things. Being the leader of the Twelfth Legion has somewhat made her to be always cautious and ready. Thanks to Gwen though for convincing Reyna that everything would be alright.

At last, they have arrived. Dakota helped Reyna towards the luggage department before bidding farewell. Dakota knows that Reyna values independence very well so he knows Reyna will never allow him to watch over her even if he insists. He wishes every happiness for his friend especially at what she has experienced throughout the years.

Reyna sat at one of the seats besides the window. As she stared outside for the take-off, his face came into her mind. Skies reminds her of him and it irritates her to the end. Who would have seen it coming that it would end that way? Surely no one, because every one thought they were perfect for each other and that it was written somewhere that they would end up with a happy ending. But they were wrong. People are still people and they would always change their minds, just like he did.

Yet it still kills her inside to see him go after all this time.

The flight will certainly be long. She put on her earphones for the meantime and played it on random. Funny how it chose "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. She didn't even know how it got there but she didn't pay no mind at changing it. The song was from the movie Titanic and she remembered that she watched it alone for no reason. If Jason was still with her, she would never recommend it to him. Jason no doubt will cry at the ending and would ask for her comfort. Tragedy always seem to make the Son of Jupiter cry.

But of course that will never happen. Reyna's pretty sure that he will watch it with the spawn of Venus and they would probably cuddle. That thought disgusts her.

And Reyna doesn't know what to be without him around.

Reyna never wanted this, never wanted for it to end this way. She could have done something, prevented it from ever happening. But people are still people and sometimes it just doesn't work out like we want it to.

And they both know its never simple, never easy. They never got to talk it out, no closure or whatnot. Never a clean break and no one there to save her from destroying herself. And he should have been there, because he was the one who knew her. The real her yet he wasn't there.

She checked her watch and it was 2AM. Everyone was fast asleep and she just woken up. And the feeling of losing someone was there. She knows it's true. It was never easy for her, never. And she hopes he realizes it. But he doesn't.

"It's terrible to lose someone we love, but it's even worse to lose ourselves while loving them."

Her flight ended and she departed the plane. Hoping to see a familiar face. Yet it was undeniably impossible. He would never pick her up, he would be too busy with his new camp. And the truth hurts her, too much pain it causes. She can't breathe properly anymore. Never normal like before when he was there. But she has to try. Reinvent herself for a better future, for her sake too. She has to breathe without him. And that's what she's going to do.
