So here is what you have missed. Cassandra went feral on Doc, Tommy, Addy, and me. While Murphy ran off with Lucy. Warren and Vaquez then went to look for him. Tommy said he would distract Cassandra while the other three of us went running for it to look for Murphy. When we returned, Tommy killed Cassandra, and Murphy returned without my goddaughter.

We all walk alongside the riverside, all quiet after losing another two of the group. I could see Murphy glaring at Tommy over his shoulder. He did the right thing. That was not Cassandra. It was a hollowed-out shell that was just Murphy's slave. We stopped, seeing a boat in the distance. Finally, I get to get off my feet. "We can move faster on the river than on foot. We can take this south to Memphis and then head west."

"Can't we find another one," Doc wines? "You see another boat lying around waiting to be taken?" Ignoring my sarcasm, everyone pulls out their weapons, ready to kill the Zs on that boat. Cut to us just smashing some skulls in like it's nothing. We find the man who owns the ship alive and underneath a tarp. Vasquez would kill him, but none of us know how to drive one.

As we sail, we run into Sketchy and Skeezy, the two men from the Fu-Bar. As soon as they got on the boat, they started talking shit about "The Murphy" and how they met. I lean over to Tommy, "This is a load of bull shit." at that point, Vaquez has had enough and threatens to throw them into the river. The two liars let us know because there are zombie jams. What in the actual fuck is a zombie jam?

Our boat then rocks and stops. "Zombie Jam." Everything was fine until the Z's started to climb the sides. "Bailout." I needed to figure out what direction I was going in compared to the group I jumped. The water was so murky I couldn't see anything. But I will tell you this. That current was strong. It whipped me around like a rag doll. I tried to swim up for air, but that made it worse. My head hit a rock, and everything went dark.

I can hear the river beside me and feel the sun shining on my face. Feeling my chest being pressed on like someone was giving me CPR. Sitting up, I vomited all the water in my system, quickly rolling onto my side so it wouldn't go back into my throat. I looked around for my savior but found nobody. That's strange. Who would save my life and then dip? I brush it off and stand up, looking over myself. I was drenched from head to toe.

There's nothing that I can do about it, so I start walking. All I can hear is the wet socks in my leather boots squelching. I am still determining where I am going, but I will find at least one person in the group at some point. While I walked, I started to look back at Tommy and me. I know I definitely like him. The way we first met. The night he put his dad down. The time I saw him naked.

When Lucy was born, we both got sick even a while ago. I thought that I was going to lose him again. It soon reached nighttime, and I had to make camp. Well, find a safe place to sleep for the night, that's all. I see a willow tree and decide to spend the night under it. I look at the sky. I hope that the rest of the group knows that I'm alright. "Hey, guys. I'm alive. Just, please.
