Willow POV
I watched Amity as she headed out the door, a minute after Luz did. Taking after the human, she had looked genuinely concerned, as if she knew something was bothering Luz. I had started to wonder what exactly the two of them were talking about before Gus and I entered the room.

Amity started to pick up her pace after noticing that Luz trailed off and out of sight, away from the owl house. She wasn't rapidly moving to the point where she was running but she definitely was speed-walking which caused Gus and I to mimic her actions in an attempt to keep up.
"Why. Are we walking. So fast?!" Gus yelped, almost out of breath. I nodded in agreement to his question as we continued to follow Amity into the woods.
"Hey, Amity. Um, do you know where you're going?" I nervously asked the witch, keeping in mind that she looked a bit worried.

I didn't get a response back as we trailed deeper into the woods. Amity started to slow down as we approached a large family of bushes, until she fully came to a stop. I watched Gus spin around a couple of times, assuming he was trying to look for something interesting, though his spinning came to an end when Amity used her hands to push her way through two large bushes.

There, behind the bushes sat a huge tree. The bushes appeared to be some kind of hidden entrance into the tree hollow. Inside of the hollow was a smaller stump, and on that stump sat Luz, whose back was turned away from us. We stood there for a moment as we stared right into the back of the girl's head, waiting for her to turn. After a minute or two of silence, Amity changed her stance, moving ever so slightly closer to the human, step-by-step.

Gus glanced over at me, slightly raising his eyebrow as a way of asking what we should do next. I shrugged in response, giving myself a moment to think as Amity neared Luz. Thinking that comforting our old friend was the best option, I placed my hand on Gus' shoulder before slowly approaching along with Amity. Gus followed along behind me with his arms crossed gently, a frown sitting on his face.

During the entire time that we were nearing the girl, Luz hadn't turned around a single time, simply not caring at all who had came to see her. Whatever she had been thinking about got interrupted when Amity sat herself down, right across from Luz.

There happened to be three small stumps in total, Amity and Luz taking up two of them. I gestured for Gus to take the last  seat but he refused.
"Nah, you go ahead and sit. My legs aren't tired." Gus insisted once more.
"Gus, you were literally panting the entire time we were walking." I let out a soft chuckle but stopped immediately when Luz quickly looked up at me with a confused frown on her face.

Eventually, Gus gave in and decided to sit down, stumbling a little as his legs collapsed onto the small stump. Luz watched Gus relax onto the stump before burying her cheeks into her hands once more, not even looking at the green-haired witch who was staring directly at her. Amity's facial expression remained confused the entire time. She gently placed a hand on Luz's knee, to which Luz still hadn't responded.

I tip-toed over by Gus, who was still panting as he watched to see if any reaction would come out from Luz. Tired of the silence, Amity spoke.
"Luz, what's the matter?" I glanced from Luz to Amity, waiting for an answer before Luz finally decided to look up into Amity's eyes, causing the witch to subtly jump back in response.

"Nothing feels right about being here, with you guys. I mean, I'm glad to see everyone again, but I feel embarrassed to be here after all these years. It doesn't feel- it doesn't feel right for me to jump back in as if I never left, knowing I hurt you." Luz mumbled the last part, barely finding the words. Though luckily, they were loud enough for us to understand. The pain in her voice was clear and obvious, I could tell Amity noticed it the most out of everyone given the expression on her face.
