Luz POV
Heading into the restaurant, I gestured for Vi to go in first. She eyed the place from left to right before silently muttering something to herself.

"What was that?" I bluntly asked. Vi spun her head around in response.
"Oh nothing haha, I just don't know what to order." I nodded my head before averting my gaze up to the menu.

There were about thirty different meals to choose from in the evening-meals section.
"I wonder if Amity still likes wormsghetti with pickled eyes." I muttered, just loud enough for Vi to hear.

Glancing up at her, I saw her eyebrows slightly furrow. There was a moment of silence as she processed the thought of eating worms and eyes, before we burst into a fit of laughter.

I looked around Vi and I as we continued to chuckle at the silly thought of eating what's considered to be disgusting on earth, only to notice that we had earned a few looks from other customers.

I brushed myself off before nervously chuckling.
"I guess we'll have some of those then?" I questioned Vi, who let out another small giggle.

"I mean, it's not like any of the other meals are any more human-like than this, so sure." She chirped, rubbing the back of her neck.

I thought about her statement for a second, technically she wasn't wrong.
"Huh, yeah I guess. It's not everyday a human gets to taste eyeballs for dinner." I joked, earning a small smile from Vi before she rolled her eyes.

Walking up to the front so we could order, I noticed the strange witch at the snail register.

"Welcome to Spicy Spaz's, what can I get for you?" The witch asked, sort of in a mellow tone.

Vi and I glanced at each other for a moment as a smirk formed on her face. I could tell she was trying so hard to suppress a laugh which only made me want to laugh even harder.

Looking back at the witch, her face looked lifeless and she had scrunched her nose up slightly at our struggle to keep a straight face.

"What'll you have? I'm not here all day." She suddenly growled, causing Vi to flinch at her voice slightly.

"O-oh uh..." I sputtered, glancing up at the menu.
"I guess we'll take three serves of wormsghetti with a side of pickled eyes please."

The witch blinked a few times before sighing and placing our order down.

"That'll be Forty-five snails." I nodded in response before reaching down into my wallet. As I was collecting the amount of snails I needed to pay, my hands froze as I realised I only had thirty-six snails.

"What's up?" Vi elbowed me to the side, causing me to tense up even more.

"Agh, I'm such an idiot." I sighed.
"Actually, we'll just take two serves of wormsghetti instead of three. Keep the pickled eyes in there though, please." I ordered, earning a sigh of annoyance from the witch.

"Thirty-three snails." I placed all thirty-six of my snails onto the counter, gesturing that the witch could keep the change. I raised my eyebrow slightly when all she did was furrow her eyebrows at the extra snails that I had given to her.

I picked up the ticket and waited for our number to be called out. Vi and I passed some time by discussing what kinds of activities we could do while she was still here. It took around ten minutes until we heard a voice call out to us.

"Number eighty-seven!" I perked up at the call of our order being ready.
"Yep!" I shouted back as I headed over, with Vi not too far behind.

"Two serves of wormsghetti and a side of pickled eyes?" The demon asked, though he seemed a lot more upbeat and friendlier than the last witch at the snail register.
