- this chapter is a lot shorter than all the others and takes place a few days to a couple weeks after the last chapter where michael decides to stop searching -

| Sophie's POV |

I watch as my username scrolls across the screen and let out a sigh of relief. You'd think editing cover videos would be as easy as turning on a camera, trust me it's not. I'm usually editing for at least an hour and then I have to wait forever for the video to upload as well. It's pretty basic editing, just making sure the lighting and sound is working right throughout, but it still takes time out of my day.

I pile my brown hair into a bun on my head and stand up from where I was sitting at my desk. I head to the kitchen and rummage through the pantry for a snack, finally settling on a granola bar.

I look down at my bare legs and shiver, questioning why I decided for shorts on such a cold day. The calendar marks the end of November, but the temperature says I'm living in Alaska instead of Virginia.

I finish my granola bar and run upstairs to my room to try to find some more suitable clothing. I look through my drawers and then head over to my closet. I reach up to the shelf and grab my long yoga pants, they're basically leggings, but they're made of the tight, yoga pants material. I grab a hoodie from the dresser in my bedroom and change out of the clothes meant for summer.

I walk back downstairs and land on the couch, ready to catch up on the newest episodes of Switched at Birth. At first, I thought the show would turn out to be really boring, but I was hooked within the first few episodes. My phone dings from where I left it on the kitchen counter and I stand up to get it, wondering what the notification was from.

I unlock the screen to find a twitter notification and just brush it off and head back to the couch. A few minutes later, I get another notification, this time my phone dings about 5 times in a row. I unlock the screen again to find quite a few notifications.

I silently question why I'm getting so many notifications and wonder why Michael Clifford was tagged in one of my photos. The only notification that sparks my interest is the mention. It's probably one of my friends from school wanting me to see something on Instagram. I enter my passcode and go over to Instagram, checking my notifications. I look at which photo I was tagged in and I'm surprised to see that it's one of Michael Clifford's photos.

I decide to wait and see if I'm told the reason why Michael and I are being tagged in each others photos. I turn my phone on vibrate to stop the obnoxious dinging.

Not 10 minutes later, my phone starts vibrating, and it keeps vibrating. I check to see if it's a call from my dad, but instead, my eyes are met with so many new notifications, it's hard to process it.

I open Twitter first, since it's easier to communicate with people and I'm very curious as to why I've gained over 100 followers in only 20 minutes. I go to the search section to look up Michael Clifford, since he's been tagged so many times in my photos. I quickly scan the Trending Topics, but I'm shocked when I stare at the Top Two Worldwide Trends: #WeFoundSophie #MichaelWeFoundHer

I don't think that it's talking about me when the trend says Sophie, but when I see the #MichaelWeFoundHer, I begin to wonder. I suspect that the trend is talking about Michael Clifford since his name is now very active on my posts. As for #WeFoundSophie, I'm not sure what to think of it, I didn't know I was being searched for in the first place.

I search for Michael Clifford, thinking that maybe I'll be able to ask him if he knows what in the world is going on. I go ahead and follow him and think of what to say when I tweet him. I put down my phone to think and soon, I just decide to let it be and watch more Switched at Birth. My phone continuously vibrates and I check it once or twice to see that I've gained at least 500 followers on Twitter, leaving me around 800 total.

After at least 5 minutes of constant vibrating, my phone finally stops buzzing. About 2 minutes later, there's one finally buzz and then it's silent.

I pick up my phone to see that I have a new direct message.

New DM from @Michael5SOS

I remember that that is Michael's twitter name and I rush to open the direct message, hoping for an explanation of all the chaos.
