The Crown
Suddenly Gabriella stopped singing when she heard the sound of door being opened, she stood up immedietly to see that it was Aaron. "Aaron? How did you know I was here?"
"I heard your voice from the room nearby, some of the walls in the palace are thin remember? What were you doing inside here?" He asked her.
"Singing apparently, Lady Denissa and her mother locked me inside here for something I did not understand. I am not the kind of person to report unless it is a serious situation. And I am wasting my time explaining because no one will come to believe that this is true." Gabriella frowned, trying to explain to Aaron what had happened.
"I believe you one hundred percent. Dutchess Helene and Lady Denissa are already spreading lies that you have fled the country. This did not sound believable, not in the least. So prince Manuel sent me to search for you, when I heard singing, I knew that it was you."
"Thank you for finding me Aaron, hopefully it is not too late." Denissa sounded hopeful. She wanted the evening to go well for once in her life she just wanted to be happy.
"No, of course it is not too late. Hurry! Get dressed, I will be back in thirty minutes to escort you to the ball." Aaron said before running down the corridor.
Gabriella spun around and squealed in her dress, she had trusted in the righteous king and he had done a miracle. Gabriella did not know what she was going to do when she would see Denissa and her mother. Only the righteous king from above could direct her.
Thirty minutes had passed and Aaron came back to see her beautifully dressed. Her curly hair was tied back in a braided bun. She was struggling to wear the beautiful rose gold pearl necklace around her neck when Aaron came up behind to assist her.
"A princess in disguise." He said behind her as they glanced at each other in the mirror. Gabriella has never been in such an expensive dress. She wanted to cry but could not for the joy in her heart was bubbling.
"Thank you again Aaron, for everything." She smiled wrapping her forearm around Aaron's as he offered and he wanted to say, "You haven't had a clue of what is in store for you." But instead he said." Come now, we do not want to be anymore late than we already are."
