The Crown
"Mama, whenever I get lost or afraid, how do I know when the righteous king is with me?" Little Gabriella asked her mother in their morning devotions. "Oh my Gabriella, the righteous King is always with you. There will be a day when you realize that you are old enough to live on your own I will no longer be there to protect you. That is why you must let the righteous king rule your life. His servants will guard you wherever you go." "But Mama, do not leave me before time. You are the only person in my life. If I lose you then I have lost a piece of myself."
Gabriella suddenly woke up from the strange dream of her mother. She has not had a dream of her in several years and it was strange to have one out of the blue. She thanked the righteous for keeping her safe through the night and for making her see her another day.
The royal breakfast was held outside and Isabella continued to send Gabriella angry glares. Isabella did not like Gabriella at all, the first time Gabriella walked into the palace, she was not as bad of a nightmare as she is now. Isabella wanted nothing more than to see her walking down those palace stairs with a valise in her hand. But that was not possible, Manuel was deeply in love and he seemed to be happier than ever. Taking her away would only break Manuel's heart and make her an enemy against him. But that was when Isabella came up with a plan. What if she paid someone to spy on Gabriella? Isabella was so positive that Gabriella was not as innocent as she claimed to be and she had to bring proof to the table-
"Isabella? Isabella!" Her mother, Rita interrupted her thoughts. "Yes? Did I miss something?" Isabella asked her. "You invited Denissa and her mother back into the palace... why?" Rita asked her.
"You what mama?" Manuel asked Isabella, not knowing this. "It is just for a meeting my son, that is all-
Oh I do not trust you, after all the lies you have told in the past and the fact that you cannot even look at my fiancé is a shame," Manuel said.
"Fiancé? Ha! She is a hog, and she is turning you into one as well. Her kindness and how much she has helped improve your life covered up my disgust for her but now she has gone too far! Now if you will excuse me, I have guests waiting for me." Isabella stood up and walked away. Manuel did not want to be angry with his mother, he had already let go of all his burdens but what was he supposed to do when she tempted him like this?
A hog, a fool, a rat mole, charcoal, were all names Gabriella was used to. But she did not care anymore because that was not who she was. She viewed herself in the mirror and saw a dark-skinned girl with a beautiful face and long hair. She remembered that that was what her mother always told her. She had to remind herself every day now she was worth more than rubies and more than gold, she was the righteous King's daughter, she was a black beauty.
"I am truly sorry dear, this is an embarrassment, it truly is," Rita said Gabriella, places her hand over hers, surprising Rita and Manuel, even Aaron who was sitting amongst them. "It well with my soul. Let us carry on with the wedding arrangements and ignore all negativity hmm?" Gabriella suggested as they all nodded happily.

"My ladies, it is not too late to get your dreams back. I have called a secret spy to check that girls every move. I know beyond a fact that she is guilty." Isabella explained. "And what if she is not guilty?" Helene asked.
"She is not. Trust me, I have known Charc- Gabriella for almost four whole years. She has never failed me." Denissa spoke causing Isabella to sit forward in disbelief.
