The Crown
The next morning came and Gabriella arose with a happy smile. She glanced at her right finger and saw that the red ruby ring was still there. Last night was not a dream. The prince proposed to her, telling her that he loved her. Then they shared a magical kiss.
KNOCK KNOCK she heard the sound of her door, she immediately got off from her bed to answer it, happy to see who it was. "Good morning Aaron." Gabriella greeted him with a friendly morning hug.
"Good morning my lady. The prince has a surprise for you." He said.
"How wonderful, I cannot wait to see. And please call me Gabriella, I am used to it already." Gabriella wore on her slippers and torn robe as she followed Aaron up the stairs and into a dark room.
"How I dislike dark rooms." She giggled shyly. Hearing her voice echo, it was quite a large room that she was in. "Hello?" She heard her voice being repeated over three times. She gasped to the feeling of male hands covering her eyes. Everything was pitch black.
What sort of surprise is this? She thought.
In a minute she was untied from the human blindfold and a giant room was revealed to her. The royal purple curtains were so tall and never seemed to end. The ceiling had greek paintings and gold foldings. The Queen-sized bed with royal purple bed sheets at end of the room was neatly arranged. Her very own Victorian bathroom. A wide, tall vanity was in the other end of the room. And last but not least was a large walk- in closet with different sorts of dresses, undergarments, corsets and bows. There was so much to choose from.
"This is... all for me?" Gabriella turned around to face Manuel and with tears of joy she hugged him after he nodded with a smile. "Muchas gracias!"
Manuel knew how much this meant to her. The room she was staying in before was thrice smaller than size and the room before that was not even a room but more of a storage area."You deserve it, mi princesa." He gave her a quick kiss before spinning her around in awe of her new room. He pulled her close to him and lightly pecked her neck, making he tingle and shiver. He knew that this was just the beginning of many surprises.

"Please pass the ham and salt. " Isabella said angrily. Yesterday she almost collapsed to the sight of her one and only son proposing to a complete outsider, one of the servants. She had not spoken to him since then and was not planning to.
"Well, we will be going back to Manor later on today. Thank you for your kindness and all you have done for us." Helene said, hoping that Isabella would not agree. She wanted to know if they were on the same page.
"You cannot possibly go can you?! My son has gone mad and he needs to be helped! I will not allow it, he cannot marry an outsider it is forbidden."
"Oh please stop whining like a big baby Isabella. He is a grown man and a prince at that. He is not your small boy anymore. He can do whatever it is that he wants to do, he is our soon to be king and he needs a good wife by his side as our queen." Rita spoke to her daughter. But that only brought more argument on the breakfast table.
"Am I not fit to be his wife or wear the crown? I have known the prince longer than that scum has! I have been by his side, supporting him and loving him. It is quite a shame." Denissa pulled out her handkerchief and began wiping her tears. Helene and Isabella felt so sorry for her, even the servant that was serving them on the table wanted to comfort her.
