After signing up for the D.A. Rosie and Ginny decided to take a stroll around Hogsmeade, wanting to enjoy the chilly adventures before the new year arrived.

"Did you hear about Leslie Summers? That her father is actually..." Some girls were gossiping about a fourth year Ravenclaw, who was often used to being talked about for being friends with Luna, but it never fazed the girl.

"Some girls need to get a grip" Ginny groaned as she rubbed her reddened face, that had been nipped away by the cold. "Who cares who someone's parents were, it's all about that person and who they are"

Rosie couldn't help but smile, Ginny always supported her about who her parents were, even if she felt insecure about it, Ginny would always assure her that it didn't matter who her parents were.

"So, George huh?" Ginny teased slightly as their feet crunched the snow beneath their feet as they trotted on down the abandoned road.

"Michael Conner huh?" Rosie added on, and Ginny shoved her brunette friend, who giggled in return to the gesture. "I knew it!"

"Oh, shut it!" Ginny grumbled as she blushed slightly, "besides he's only really been helping me not want to...well, he keeps my mind and emotions focused on him instead..."

"Instead of Harry" Rosie states sympathetically at her friend, who nodded slightly, Rosie let out a huff before she wrapped her arm around Ginny's shoulders. "Chocolate frogs on me and we'll complain about how dumb guys are"

"I like the sound of that" Ginny agreed, and they soon changed their course of walking to the sweets shop for supply's. "We could have a good cry about your exams this year as well"

"Oooh, that sounds excellent" Rosie smiled gently at the ginger haired girl, her arm still around her shoulders.

Rosie was in the Gryffindor common room when an owl burst through the window and landed on the table that sat between her and Ginny.

"I swear you basically live here" Angelina spoke up from one of the sofas, and the best friends stared over at the girl in confusion. "You're here before breakfast, weekends, weekdays, nights and now you have your mail coming here"

"We don't know if it's for her" Ginny defended quickly, from her place on the floor, she quickly grabbed the letter from the owl and glanced at the letter before handing it over to Rosie, who took it with confusion.

"So, who is it?" Angelina asked nosily, and George's attention switched over to the brunette and the letter in her hand.

"I don't know" Rosie answered honestly, looking down at it. "I've never gotten mail before"

Ginny frowned before sending Angelina a quick and harsh look for upsetting her friend.

Rosie started to open it up gently, the feeling of the paper feeling weird to her, but she had watched others open up mail so she knew what to do with it.

"It's a letter" Angelina sates as she tries to peer at it, only to be pushed lightly by Alicia who sat next to her.

"Don't be so nosy!"

Rosie opened it up gently before she started to read the familiar writing.

Dear Rosie,

Big disaster is happening with Remus, he decided he doesn't want to be with me beachside of what he is, I insisted that I didn't care but he went on to explain how he never truly loved me.

That I was just a teenager with a foolish crush, it hurt. But, I'll get over it eventually....at the moment I'm working on a job near Hogsmeade and wanted to ask if you'd have dinner with me one evening or even just go out for a walk and sweets?

Miss you dearly,
Tonks.

"Poor Tonks" Ginny chimed in from besides Rosie, and Roy's nodded in agreement. "She'll be...okay, right?"

Roos glanced over at Ginny, giving her a Curt nod that made Ginny smile.
