Dear Tonks,
Dad is a stress head, he'll only see this as bad and I know he will stress over every little thing Teddy will do. Please don't let him trap up my brother in a box or something.
Help guide him through this, as you helped guided me.
Love and adore you, Rosie
"Remus, stopped coddling her" Tonks warned her husband, who was watching over Rosie sleeping, Draco had been taken to the Wood's house by Remus the day before per Rosie's request, and he couldn't find it in him to say no. "She's safe"
"Nowhere is safe" Remus resorted, glancing at his wife gently before his eyes settled on Rosie again in worry, it seemed to be a common theme recently. "I'm just worried for her, she's been through so much...and it's not even over yet"
Tonks walked forward and placed her hand on Remus's shoulder, giving it a slight squeeze, and his hand came up and rested on top of hers out of instinct. Tonks had caught Remus in many occasions asleep on Teddy's room, as he was afraid to be away for too long, and now it was happening with Rosie. "Now come to bed, you know Teddy will wake us up early, and it's your turn to settle him"
Remus sighed softly at the reasoning, before he stood up with a playful irritation on his face. "Fine, I guess you are right"
"I'm always right" Tonks corrected as she held her finger up at him teasingly, before she tugged her husband towards their bedroom, forcing him to actually get some rest.
//////////
Remus woke up in the late morning, glancing over to see Tonks still passed out beside him, and he almost cuddled back up to her until he realised their son hadn't woken them up.
His first instinct was to run to see if Rosie knew anything, so he raised her room quickly with his wand held high, only to panic when he couldn't spot the witch.
He ran into his son's bedroom, only to find that it was completely empty there as well, and then he heard it.
It was a laugh, a small laugh that he knew belonged to Rosie and so he made his way down the stairs slowly to see Rosie holding Teddy, cooing at him as she smiled down softly, the baby making weird reply's to her, babbling slightly.
And then he spotted the earless figure sitting beside her, looking down at the baby in her arms with love in his eyes, and Remus almost had a heart attack when he put it all together.
"It's rude to stare, Remus" Rosie spoke out loud, and George glanced around in confusion before he gulped at Rosie's dad stood at the bottom of the stairs with an almost panicked look.
"What's George doing here?"
Rosie sighed softly, turning to George, who gladly took the baby and began to pull funny faces at him, resulting in a small giggle. "Da—Remus, George is only here for a few hours because he found out what happened. He's a stress head, like you"
"Ha ha" Remus glared playfully, before his eyes met his son again, and he smiled at the boy playing with him. "Fine, but not for too long, it's not safe"
Rosie smiled brightly, causing Remus's heart to swell at the sight before he watches her happily sit down next to the two boys, George soon trying to make her pull a funny face, which Rosie pulled a confused face at.
