Rosie awoke to the sun peaking through her new blue curtains, and her face scrunched up slowly as she lifted a hand up to keep the sun away from her eyes, huffing slightly as she realised it was morning.
She groggily swiped her hands over her eyes to remove any possible sleep before she sat up slowly and glanced around her room with squinted eyes, taking in her new room with Remus, and then she realised that she was home and that Harry was here too.
With that thought, she peeled away her covers before she slipped out of the bed unmajestically and slid her feet into her slippers, not wanting her feet to be cold as she went downstairs to the kitchen.
She had made sure to take in very thing corner and wall of her new home, wanting it to be a familiar setting where she could be herself, although she also knew that she'd have to part with it soon enough as they headed back to Hogwarts after the new year, and all Hell would break loose.
"Rosie!" Harry cheered when he caught sight of Rosie walking in the kitchen/dining area awkwardly, as she held her hands together and looked around at the company that was over.
She was embarrassed about her pyjamas all of a sudden and cursed herself inwardly as she didn't change into actual clothes.
"Nice pyjamas" Sirius smirked at her in a tease, only for Melanie to slap his arm rather fiercely, causing him to hiss as he held his coffee closely. "We talked about this Melanie, get your anger in control"
"Shut up" Melanie scolded him, seeming rather moody as she sat there with a full plate of food of all different tastes, and Rosie smiled inwardly as she had a small peak into the future.
"Come sit down Rosie, I made pancakes for you"Remus smiled gently at her, pointing towards the chair besides Harry and himself, Harry just nodding as he continued to eat his waffles, spreading chocolate on his face accidentally.
Rosie laughed lightly as she room her seat, grinning to Harry when he turned to her with a confused look, to which she lifted her hand and pointed at his cheek.
Harry blushed embarrassingly before he lifted up his sleeve and wiped his chin on it, returning to looking at the table with a sheepish grin.
"So, what's everyone up to today?" Remus politely asked, wanting to start up a conversation.
"Going to visit Ron" Harry answered first, Sirius and Melanie huffing at the side as he ditched them again, although Rosie knew that he just wanted to see Ginny again.
"Rosie?" Remus turned to his goddaughter with a small look, and she gave him a small smile.
"I promised Neville I'd go with him and Brooklyn to visit his parents" Rosie quickly explained, a tense air surrounding them all. "Apparently his dad likes to play with Brooklyn's hair, because it can change"
"Metamorphosis?" Sirius tilted forward with interest, as he first heard of another one.
"Yes" Rosie nodded slowly, "but she doesn't usually do anything with it, she prefers to look normal. She only does it because Frank likes it"
Remus smiled softly at that and nodded in understanding, sending Sirius a little kick under the table so he could sit back properly and continue eating.
"I thought you were going to visit George again" Melanie frowned slightly, tilting her head as she spoke, and all the guys in the room suddenly turned to Rosie in confusion.
"He's meeting up afterwards so I could leave Brooklyn and Neville on their own, I don't want to be the throes wheel" Rosie joked along, wanting to stop the look on Remus's face.
"I hope you have fun, Merlin knows you don't get to see George enough" Melanie added on a wink towards the end, causing Rosie to blush and Remus to glance between the girls nervously.
