It took me so long to jump on the bandwagon for this song but I mean...it's good and I can heckin' do stuff with this.

And yes this'll be short but still-

     Cardigan POV

"Does she normally take this long?" Stella asked. Riddle shrugged, holding up a hand and gesturing to say "sometimes." Silk nodded, "She talks to her team for awhile before leaving."
"Yeah, and her conversations with Willa drag on for a long while." I said. "Willa?" Stella asked. "The mute girl on her basketball team. They've known each other since...6th grade?" I looked at Riddle for conformation, and she nodded.
"Hey, Riot!" Silk called, perking up and waving. Stella looked over, and brightened up considerably. "Rachel!" She cried, running over. My sisters and I shared a glance. We'd all seen it.
Riddle put a hand on Silk's shoulder as Stella began energetically talking to Riot. I put an arm around my second youngest sister and pulled her into my side. It hurt me too, but I could hide it better than Silk could.

The three of us had come to Primrose to meet Stella. Our parents had called us out of school for the Friday, and we'd get our missed work on Monday. Riot had basketball practice, so Stella and my sisters had been waiting for her.

Silk hugged me tightly. "I'm such a fool for even trying, aren't I?" She asked. "You did nothing wrong." Riddle murmured. "I hate it too."
We'd all seen the happiness in Stella's eyes. How she'd perked up at the mention of Riot's name. How when she sprinted to Riot, it was faster than when she ran to us. How relaxed her body language was when she was near us, and how tensed and nervous it became when she was with Riot.
We all loved Riot like she was our own sister. But we all hated how much Stella loved her. The three of us shared the same dilemma. We hated how Riot was the love interest of Stella, but we wanted to be happy for her. After all, she had one of the greatest people in the world in love with her.
It took it's toll on us equally. Silk felt like she wasn't good enough, and we were worried she would slip back into depression. I personally just had...jealousy issues. And if there was a rivalry between my family and Riot, our group would fall apart. While Riddle was dealing with it in a quieter way. She was isolating herself from us, and she didn't eat.
"Cardi." Riddle put her other hand on my shoulder, and I looked at her. She opened her mouth to speak, but then Riot and Stella came over, and she shut it again. "You guys okay?" Riot asked, concerned. Silk slowly let me go, and looked at Riot, forcing a smile. "Yeah, fine. You just take forever to get out of practice." She said, lightly punching Riot in the shoulder.
"If you say so." Riot rolled her eyes. "Let's go home." Riddle said. "I second that." I said.

As we began walking, Riddle whispered into my ear, "I want to strangle her sometimes." I nearly laughed. "Me too."
It was the unfortunate truth. We hated her, but we loved her. And we felt guilty about it. But there wasn't much we could do about it.
All we could do was hope to do was win Stella's heart. But there was little chance we could.
