Ship Rants (DitD music AU)

This was actually based on my friend's taekook ship rants (I don't actually listen to K-pop nor do I know a lot about BTS or any other bands, only what my friend's tell me) and all of the things the ARMYs have done to prove taekook is real and...anything else at this point.
I will never forget the fact that someone stared at a picture of an idol's lips for so long they found out the exact brand and shade of lipstick said idol was wearing.

DitD joint rock band AU
   - All go to school in Primrose (the triplets transferred to be with Riot)
   - Hollow and Little Riddle joined together their bands to form Little Hollow. Half of the characters work on sound, special effects, and advertising, while the others are left to actually play music
   - The rivalries are less tense than before but still there
   - Stella/Rachel is canon
   - Stella is bad at lying
   - Riot isn't actually ridiculously thin

Riot POV

I scrolled through my feed on social media, just checking the status of all my friends and the people I followed. I had a private account, so only people I approved could see my posts. However, I also had 2 public accounts, the ones I shared with Little Hollow and just Little Riddle.
"Hey, does anyone else ship Riot and Stella from Little Hollow?" Someone had tagged the band, so it showed up on my feed... Meaning the others probably saw it too. On any normal day I would've rolled my eyes and left it alone, but this rumor (albeit accurate) had been going around, so I decided to open the post.
"I don't just ship it, I STAN it!" Was one reply. "Has anyone else seen the looks Stella gives Riot?" Was another. "They wore the same lipstick on the last concert!! Something's up there!"
"I heard Riot does Stella's makeup before they go out. Think they make out while they're at it?"
"Personally, I prefer Erin/Stella, but there was the time Stella had an asthma attack and Riot was the only one there. Back when they were still separate bands."
"Secret romance! Hollow would NEVER let it happen. But Erin seems to know. Think it's a triangle?"

"Nope. Nope, and more nope." I said, closing the post. Granted, they weren't wrong, I was in love with Stella, however it was scary how many of our fans shipped it. We were, in fact, together...but we had to keep it a secret from half the band, and there was a lot of drama with Willa and the rest of Little Riddle that didn't need to see the light.
It was at that moment I got a message. "Rachel..." It read as I opened it. "What is it Stell?" I quickly typed my reply and hit send. "I just read this." She sent a screenshot. Someone had analyzed the exact brand of lipstick we'd worn one night and had figured out, by looking so closely at our faces, that there was a faint lipstick mark on my neck that night. It'd been the reason we'd worn lipstick that was closer to the shade of our skin tones.
     I face-palmed.
"Stella, just deny it if anyone asks."
     "But I'm bad at lying!"
     "I can confirm your denials."
     "What about Hollow?"
"Won't Erin argue on your part?"
     "Maybe. But if she doesn't?"
     "Stay silent? Or play dumb?"
"I can try. But what if it doesn't work? Ruby won't take this lightly."
"Ask for them to keep you maybe? I haven't thought that far ahead tbh."
"If it goes wrong, will you still love me?"
"Always. You don't even have to ask."
    "Thanks."
     "Anytime."

Stella signed off. Then so did I. "Rachie!" My sister ran into my room, her face alight with happiness. "What is it?" I asked. "I got in! I got the part!" She said, bouncing on her toes. "Great job!" I said, hugging her tightly. She squirmed away, making me giggle, and then ran down to tell our parents.
I sighed softly and shook my head. Rebecca was crazy about musical theatre, but she was also my sister, and I loved her.

 - That night -

Stella pulled down her hood and took off her sunglasses. Unfortunately, whenever she came over she had to hide herself as much as possible and change her posture so stalker fans and Hollow wouldn't find out it was her. But she would always bring other clothes or wear clothes underneath her hoodie.
She pulled her hoodie off over her head, revealing a violet crop top.
Stella ran to me and hugged me. "Hello." I said. "Joint bands suck." She murmured. "Did they ask about it?" I asked. "Did who ask about what?" My mother asked. Stella pulled away and rubbed the back of her neck, "If the twins asked about where I was going. They didn't."
My mother raised her eyebrows and nodded, before pointing at me, "You, help your sister." I sighed, and Stella hid a giggle with her hand. "Alright."
I looked for my sister, and proceeded to find her in her room, looking for her sweater. After finding it for her, I headed back to Stella.

     - Time skip again 'cause laziness is real -

Leaning against my shoulder, Stella sighed. "I'm beat." She said, yawning. "Well it is 2 AM." I said, giggling. She turned slightly and hugged me, "I know, but I'm really tired."
This was just her way of asking if we could cuddle. "Alright." I said, wrapping my arms around her. Stella snuggled her face close to my shoulder, resting a hand on my chest. No matter how many times she said it, I couldn't get used to the fact she always craved the sound of my heartbeat.
I rested my head on hers, breathing in the sweet scent of her herbal shampoo. Habitually, my fingers played with her hair, and Stella let out a content sigh, moving ever closer. So close I could literally feel her breathing.
"I wish our fans would just cut it out already." She murmured. "Me too. But that's a lot easier said than done." I gave a low chuckle, although it was tired and mirthless. "Yeah..." With a soft hum, she lifted her head up, causing me to lift my own head, and lightly kissing my cheek. "Is that the best you can do, Miller?" I asked quietly, looking at her.
She giggled, kissing my lips. "No, no it's not, Viole." She said. I chuckled lightly, pressing my forehead to hers. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you too." Stella whispered.
