Jones had severe neck injury when he was brought to the hospital after the accident. His brain was nearly exposed to a haemorrhage which in the case of the doctors, was a miracle.
His daughter and co workers came to visit him in these two dreadful days. News reporters wanted to approach him about the accident and the death of Connor but Tyler blocked them out. All this public hassle was all due to the adept detectives.Connor and Jones were not only inseparable but also famous due to their countless case solving in the country. Almost all notorious prisoners in the Tinning jail were captured thanks to them. So,to hear of Connor Leonman's death was a shock to everyone.

But even if they did get access to Jones confessions, who would believe him? Jones himself couldn't talk to anyone for all those two days. His life had frozen and all he could recall was his friend's still body on the tarmac road sprinkled with shattered glass. The most shocking thing was the chaotic energy that lead to the accident. It was all dangerously foreboding. He can still feel himself in the charging car.

His daughter,Fina was the only one there to calm him.

After those two days,he was discharged even though the doctors insisted on more days to regain his full energy. He refused and left with his daughter.

Connor's Funeral
……………

Jones arrived early at the Leon's to talk to Connor's parents.
Mrs.Leon's eyes  were red and puffy as she hugged him.
"Jones,why this early?" She asks,sniffing.
"I have to talk." Jones voice was hoarse not fully recovered with his neck injury.
Connor's father walks by the corridor and stops.
"Jones, why are you here this early?" His voice much shallower than deep.

"I need to talk both of you."
They both look at him. Mr Leon's eyes seem distant-a contrast to his usual cheerful character, like Connor's.
His father kept his composure but Jones couldn't hold in the tears. This was too sudden for him too. He always thought his friend would be  by his side till they were old.

"Oh, my son." Mrs Leon coos him in her warm embrace." I'm really sorry for this."
"I should be the one to say that." He wipes his tears." I should have saved his life."
"Hush, now." She whispers." It was an accident, there was nothing you could do." Her voice breaks slightly.

Shattering of glass flashes in Jones' eyes followed by Connor's frightened eyes.
"It wasn't an accident." He says slowly.
Mrs. Leon looks at him through her teary eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"It was meant to look like an accident but it wasn't."
"Are you okay, son?" Mr.Leon asks, concerned even though his skin was pale and his eyes tired.

"I'm fine."

"Sit down." He instructs." I'll get you a glass of water."
"I have to tell you the truth." He looks at Mrs.Leon.
Mr.Leon hands him a glass of water.
"Please sit down." He whispers.

He gulps down the water.
"Please keep an open mind when I tell you what happened."
Mrs.Leon and her husband glance at each other.
"We were leaving Tinning Prison when something strange happened." Jones sniffs.
He tells them what happened in a strangled voice, trying his best not to cry.
The both of them stared at him wide eyed almost not blinking  at all.

"Please say you believe me." Jones insists.
"I don't know what to say." Mrs.Leon says.
Mr.Leon looks down then back at Jones.
"Son…" He pauses." You haven't recovered properly."
"I am fine." Jones says quickly."I am well,Mr.Leon."

He moves closer to them.
"Please believe me." He looks at them with desperation.
"Son,you don't have to make us feel better with another story. It happened like any other accident." Mr.Leon says.
"Please,please believe me." Jones pleads.
"Does anyone else know what you told us,just now?" Mrs.Leon asks.
"No,I didn't tell them." Jones replies."I knew they wouldn't believe me. So,I decided to tell you both,so you could know the truth."
