Hi guys!! I know you have a lot of questions about the story. Like; why would she do that if she can....
OR Why would they give him that if the....You know, all those plot holes in the story that make you frown and crack your head and make you say,"Well, that was kind of stupid! What's up with the writer?"Don't worry,I now have a special way of answering all your qns.
How did I do it? I guess it was just my subconscious scolding my brain for not having much profundity in the story.🤷🏾♀️)
And please ignore the bad jokes.
.........
(Up-beat music signals the start of the show)(Music fades out and the camera zooms in on a well dressed and extremely handsome swarthy man.)"Welcome to Hot Seat Chapter ladies and gentlemen! My name is Tumaini; your handsome host for this chapter-and the rest, hopefully. I know you can't see me but just imagine me as Michael .B. Jordan."
"The writer, Amani, has somehow come up with an insane alternative way to keep you entertained and answer some important questions."Tumaini covers his mouth as he whispers,"In my opinion, it's just an excuse to attract more readers but whatever- it's not my position to interfere. I mean- she created me."
"You know I can hear you, right?" Amani's voice surfaces beside Tumaini.
Tumaini clears his throat." Ah!Didn't see you there,Amani." He scratches his head.
Amani stares at him. He stares back.
"Well, get on with it!" Amani signals him to continue." I have clothes to wash."
"Right." Tumaini rubs his neck." Ladies and gentlemen, welcome t-"
"No,you stupi-" Amani groans." You're not supposed to start again. You're supposed to continue."
Tumaini blinks.
Amani sighs. "Oh my Gosh! I have to fix your introduction speech." Tumaini still blinks at her."Okay, continue with,'Today, our guest is;Amani Saba Pallangyo(a.k.a Miss Resting bitch face). The writer of Simona Davis; a book that needs more votes.
"Right!" Tumaini fixes his mic."Bored readers, today we have the absolutely mean and moody Amani Saba Pallangyo."
Amani smirks.
"As some of you few know, she is the writer of Simona Davis; a book that still needs a lot of editting." Tumaini looks at Amani." Like that?"
Amani nods satisfied.
"Great!" He smoothes his hair." So, let's get down to it."
"Finally." Amani lays back."First I would like to ask if we'll be reading from the third person's POV."
"Only the first ten chapters." Amani scratches her head."I wanted to introduce Walter's framing and sentencing clearly and not from his perspective so we can cover everything in just ten chapters."
Tumaini nods." Make sense."
"So it's only going to be Walter's POV from now on?""No,his and Simona's." Amani drums her fingers on her knee.
"Fair enough." Tumaini smiles."Let's continue with the chapters."
"Poa." Amani clears her throat." I mean;okay."
(poa means okay in Swahili)
"So,in the first chapter; The Assault-why did you start with a gory setting?"
"Was that gory?" Amani asks frowning.
"I'm the one asking the questions here." Tumaini says and purses his lips.Amani looks hurt."Now you're the one being rude."
"Well,I come from your brain so,yeah, I would be mean. It's automatic." Tumaini explains,smiling."Right." Amani glances at him." I was reading a story; and in one of the chapters,a girl was being attacked by a sexual predator but a big strong man came to her rescue just in the nick of time."
"Thank God." Tumaini sighs."But, I thought;what if the girl could defend herself and didn't need a hero to help her in her distress."
"Feminist much?" Tumaini thinks out loud. He looks back at his papers when Amani glares at him.
"Sorry. Please continue."
"I think I've answered your question." Amani says pissed off.
