"Julie!"
The young blonde woman busily tending to the Eagles' media and hospitality team, jerks her head in the direction of the familiar voice. Brian notices the subtle way the tenseness melts off her when she catches sight of him and Carli. He makes his way to her, just a step in front of his wife, and wraps his arms around her tightly when she meets him halfway. "I'm so glad you're here Dad. I missed you."
Brian gives her a squeeze and whispers so no one else can hear, "I missed you too sweetie." Obviously, Zach knows about his wife's family, but the people in this room are definitely not in the "need to know" crowd. Carli and Hope hugging and being friendly with the girls go unnoticed in the public eye, but for Brian and Jerramy they do not have that luxury.
Carli snatches their second youngest from his arms and into her own in the blink of an eye. B rolls his eyes playfully at his wife's eagerness and goes on to introducing himself to the staff and getting through the necessary formalities.
The two women get all they need to do for the team and the network done. Both of them pretty excited to be down on the sidelines. The family of three has fun watching the first quarter of the game together. By the second though, the early signs of a meltdown start to show. Julie's answers to others' questions start to get a little short and her smile gets tight.
"Honey," whispers Car leaning more into Brian's embrace, "I think Jules could use a snack..." She glances over at the blonde chatting to someone in Eagle's attire, "and maybe a break..." She locks eyes with Brian, "do you think you could take her with you?"
"You have to come too." He pecks her lips and then smiles down at her. "I'm not leaving you down here all by yourself. Someone might really get you to sign to kick and that's just not in the plans right now." Car rolls her eyes and nudges him away laughing.
"JJ-" she lightly smacks her in the shoulder- "do you want to go with me and Bri to grab something to eat? You know it'll be a nightma-"
"I'm busy."
"What did you just-" Carli kisses Brian to get him to shut up. He shoots her a look when she pulls away which she just shoots right back.
"Would you like us to get you something? I know you like the hot dogs from-"
"No, sto-"
"Hey, I really need to use the restroom... Julie can you come with me? I'm not really sure where it is." Carli let's go of Brain and takes Julie's arm. "I don't really want to go alone either you know..." She glances back at Brian. "We'll be right back I promise. I'll bring you something to eat."
"Would you like something, Mrs. Llyod? I can get it for you. Would anyone else like any refreshments?"
Brian turns and smiles at the attendant. "That would actually be amazing. Thank you so much." He fills in what he and Carli want. "...and Jules would like a hotdog and nachos with a Dr. Pepper."
