The next 3 days passed in a blur, and all too soon, Gisela was reluctantly opening her front door for a certain irritating boy.
Fintan strutted in, and whistled softly.
"Nice place you got here, Gisela." He stated.
"Yes, well, let's get working. You have your info with you, I hope." She snapped, sounding a little more annoyed that usual.
Fintan must've noticed, for as they climbed up the silver staircase, he asked,
"Got a bee in your bonnet?"
"It's none of your concern," Gisela replied, and stopped before a turquoise door. Putting her hand on the golden knob, she slowly opened the door.
Fintan sauntered in after her, eyes widening as he took in the room's full majesty.
Gold drapes hung around graceful windows, and a turquoise desk with a crystal chair sat in one corner. There was a massive gold bookshelf stuffed to the brim, and a small turquoise and gold vanity at the other end. There was a massive, engraved set of doors that no doubt concealed a closet, and another glass door that led to a small balcony with a turquoise lounging chair laid out. The king-size bed was sturdy gold, heaped with turquoise-colored pillows. A gold-tasseled coverlet secured the sheets in place, and a gold-and-turquoise canopy completed the look.
"This is my room." Gisela said from her desk, motioning for Fintan to sit on the solid gold floor.
He did so, still looking around in sort of an awe-like manner.
"Shall we get started?" Gisela asked, pulling out the blank poster. She noticed Fintan shifting his weight uncomfortably, and sighed.
"Pyren, would you like a pillow to sit on or something?"
"Sure, Gisela." He replied.
She stood up, grabbed a pillow from her bed, and tossed it at him rather forcefully. She didn't look when she threw it, and ended up nailing him in the stomach. He looked at her, stunned. She smirked at him, then went to go sit down when a pillow whistled by her ear. She spun around to find a grinning Fintan with his arm still outstretched.
"What was that for? I thought you wanted a pillow." She stated incredulously.
Fintan responded by lunging past her for the pillow and tossing it at her.
Gisela's fast reflexes took over, and she snatched the pillow seconds before it hit her in the face.
Fintan looked at her, then at the pillow, then at her again, replaying the catch over and over.
"You wanna have a fight, Pyren?" Gisela demanded, hefting the pillow again before she took aim.
Without bothering for a reply, she launched it at his face. He ducked right before it would've made contact.
They both simultaneously lunged for the bed, snatching up all the pillows they could get.
Fintan threw a pillow at her stomach, and it was so on.
Before she knew it, Gisela was out of breath, and actually kind of having....fun. With Fintan Pyren of all people.
Minutes later, there were pillows scattered all over, and both were disheveled.
"It's a tie." An exhausted Gisela spoke, starting to gather all the pillows from the floor.
Fintan nodded in agreement, then started to help her. When the pillows were all in a nice, neat stack, Gisela snatched one, and whipped it at Fintan's head. It made contact.
