After Gisela finished detailing her orders, everyone went to execute them. A mere half an hour later, everyone regrouped in the living room. They played a quick rock, paper, scissors tournament, which Gisela won handily. She then used her won favor to make everyone go to the kitchen for dinner. They all claimed a stool around the marble counter, with plates set in front of them. Gisela handed out dinner, and they ate. After a pleasant meal full of chatter and teasing, they all went back to the living room, and sat in a circle in front of the massive television on the floor.
Fintan stood up, a sneaky gleam in his eye.
"How about a game of truth or dare?" He asked.
"Sure." Everyone said with varying degrees of enthusiasm.
"Okay. Gethen, truth or dare?"
"I never turn down a dare." Gethen bravely answered.
"I dare you to...." Fintan paused, letting the suspense build. "Hug the person you care most about in this group!"
Gethen shrugged, and hugged himself.
"My turn. Trix, truth or dare?" Gethen asked, grinning evilly.
Trix was nonchalant. "Oh, I pick..hmmm.. how about truth?"
"Who do you want to kiss most in this room?" Gethen questioned slyly.
Trix paled. "U-Umber." he stammered quietly.
Gethen smirked, pleased with his handiwork.
Umber turned salmon pink.
Glimmer grinned at her in triumph, and her smile only got bigger when Umber handed her ten bucks.
"What was that all about?" Fintan asked.
"We made a bet." Glimmer answered. "I thought Trix had a crush on Umber, but she didn't. So the loser of the bet owed the winner ten dollars."
"Ah." Fintan said conversationally. He turned to Trix. "Dude, you realize that you could've taken off your jacket or something, right?"
Trix face-palmed. "Man, I can't believe I forgot about that!"
"Moving on with that rule in mind." Fintan said rather impatiently.
"All right. Umber, truth or dare?" Trix asked.
"Dare." Umber stated.
"I dare you to punch Fintan and Gethen in the face, and stay alive." He said, sneering at both of them.
Umber stood up, and walked over to Fintan, then gave him a good crack across the face. He shifted, and lunged for Umber. She ducked, and dashed for Gethen. He, too, got a knuckle sandwich in his face. Soon, both boys were after Umber, and only stopped when Gisela called a time-out. "I think poor Umber has been chased enough. Now let's move on." They both sat down in their spots, chagrined.
"Glimmer, truth or dare?" Umber challenged.
"Truth." Glimmer said without hesitation.
"If you insist. Who would you rather go out with: Brant, Alvar, or Ruy?"
"Is there a giant squid option?" Glimmer asked, amid gales of laughter.
"No. But seriously, who would you pick?" Umber asked.
Glimmer took off her hair tie. "Not telling you. Besides, I don't wanna start World War GOW, for go out with." she said smugly.
"So, Brant, truth or dare?" Glimmer continued.
"Dare." He said foolishly.
"I dare you to restyle Alvar's hair!" She said.
"God, no!" Alvar wailed, and tried to get away.
