Kirito x SMR AU!

Requested by TornaGamer as well. I had no idea how to write this, so I made it AU. I hope you don't mind.

Y/n typed on his computer. He was in his office, veryfying the offers his salesmen sent to the clients. Being a CEO of the company required him to be in control of everything. He sighed loudly when the computer froze again. He bought the licenses for the new system lately, but the IT guy didn't even start installing it yet. Y/n really thought about firing him. With that thought in mind he went out of his office to the IT room. He wasn't surprised to find the man he was looking for in the server room.

-What are you doing today? - he asked glaring. The idiot was slacking off again.

-Organizing the cables sir. - he answered.

-When are you planning on taking care of the new system? - questioned Y/n. - I told you it's urgent. Maybe I should hire someone to help you if you can't take care of that?

-That won't be necessary...- argued the man, but he stopped talking, seeing that his boss was not in the best mood for talking back.

-My decision has been made. - said Y/n and made his way to the HR office.

He told the manager to start looking for another IT guy and keep the one they already had for now. The manager nodded and picked the person who will be responsible for the recruitment. Y/n nodded and made his way back to his office, grabbing a coffee on his way. He went in his office and closed the door behind him. He sat at his desk and restarted the computer again. Then he proceeded to do his job.

Time skip

Few days later Y/n heard the HR manager knocking on his office door. He walked inside with the newly hired IT employee. Y/n stood up and smiled, welcoming the new guy. He didn't know how much was he needed in that company.

-Hello, my name's Y/n L/n, CEO. - he said.

-Kirigaya Kazuto, it's a pleasure to meet you sir. - said the new guy. He was shorter than Y/n and he had to admit, he was kind of cute.

After the introduction and a small talk the HR and Kazuto went to the IT room. Kazuto met his coworker, not really pleased that he will have company. Kazuto examined the server room and then he was told to take care of the new system. Kirito nodded and got to work. He wanted to make the best first impression. After installing the system on the first server, he started doing the same to the workers' computers. Finaly the time to go to the boss arrived.

-Come in. - said Y/n as he heard the knock on the door.

-Sir, do you have some calmer moment? -asked Kazuto. - I'd need to work with your computer for around an hour.

-I never have such moment, though I did prepare myslef for your arrival. - he answered and made his way to the couch. He was pleased with the face that Kazuto informed everyone with a mail about the planned instalation, letting the others organize their work. - Feel free to do what's necessary.

Kirito did his job as quick as possible, not wanting to take too much of the busy man's time. Y/n decided to just make a small break over the time Kirito worked in his office. He closed his eyes for a small nap. Kirito had an opportunity to take in Y/n's looks. He was tall and handsome. For a moment he regretted that he was aleady married to Asuna. Kazuto scolded himself for such thoughts and focused back on his work.

Time skip

Kazuto got more and more attracted to Y/n over the time he was working in the same company. He kept coming up with the maintanance works all the time in Y/n's office to spend some time with him. Even when he was having sex with his wife, which was getting rere lately, he was thinking about Y/n. Finally he had to make the decision. Either cut himslef off from Y/n, or get divorced and go after him.

He thought about it for the whole month before his final decision has been made. When he broke the news to Asuna she didn't cry. She already knew that something was going on. Kirito rented a flat and moved out after they both signed the divorce papers. He felt down, after all they thought their relationship will last forever.

On the next day he went to work. Again he couldn't stop himslef from going to Y/n using some stupid excuse. Y/n noticed that something was off about him, so he decided to ask him about it.

-Are you alright? - he asked.

-Yeah. - Kazuto sighed heavily.

-Now the real answer please. -pressured Y/n.

-I got divorced lately. - he said.

-I'm sorry to heard that. - nodded Y/n understanding the situation. - Was there any particular reason behind that? - he continued knowing the answer already. He knew that Kazuto had hots for him, the feeling was mutual, but they never did anything.

-You know it's you. - siad Kirito looking on the floor.

-I do. - answered Y/n. - But I wanted to be sure.

Y/n put his finger under Kirito's chin and made him look up at him. Y/n leaned closer to him and connected their lips in a slow loving kiss. Kirito returned it, he yearned for it for so long after all. They kissed until their lungs burned for air. They broke the kiss staying in each other's arms.

-I love you. - muttered Y/n.

-I love you too. - answered Kirito blushing. He rested his forehead on Y/n's shoulder and sighed in content.
