Y/n added some wood to the fireplace. He was living in a small cottage near the woods, away from the town. His love life was a constant paradox. He enjoyed living alone, but at the same time he wanted someone in his life. Someone to hold in a cold winter night and someone to swim in the lake with during summer. He liked being alone, but he hated his loneliness.

One day his silent wishes have been answered. Y/n heard a knock late at night. He was up, because he got too caught up with reading a book. He set it aside and made his way to the door, curious. No one was visiting him, apart from his parents, but they would call him first to make sure he was home. Y/n opened the door. Behind them he saw a silver-haired man, slightly shorter than him. The stranger was shivering from the cold that invaded the cottage once the door have been opened.

-Come in, it's freezing. - said Y/n stepping to the side. He felt chills running up his spine as the cold wind engulfed him. The stranger stepped in the house, still shivering. - What are you doing here at this time?

-I was walking home from my sister's house. - explained the stranger. - I don't come around here too often, so I got lost when the night came, da.

Y/n led his guest to the fireplace, then brough a warm blanket and wrapped it around the freezing man. Then he made some tea and offered it to him. It was accepted with a small nod as a thank you. Y/n threw two pieces of wood into the fireplace to make the flame stronger before he turned his attention back to his guest.

-My name's Y/n. - he said sitting in front of the man.

-Ivan. - answered the stranger and took a sip of his tea. - Do you have vodka?

-I do. - nodded Y/n and poured some into Ivan's tea.

-Thanks. - said Ivan.

Y/n and Ivan talked for a long time. They had a lot of things in common, so the conversation was never coming to an end. They went to sleep when their eyes were closing on their own. Y/n let Ivan take the bed, while he slept on the couch. He woke up sore. Y/n got up and stretched few times to ease the pain,then he got to making the breakfast. Ivan woke up few minutes later. They had the breakfast together, then it was the time for Ivan to go. When he left, Y/n felt empty again.

Time skip

A month later Y/n heard a knock on his door again. Just like the last time it was a cold night. Ivan was visiting Y/n every weekend since the night they met for the first time. Y/n opened the door and smiled seeing Ivan. He let him in without wasting any second. Ivan walked in and made his way to the fireplace.

-What bought you here? - asked Y/n as he made the tea. This time he added the vodka immediately. - Visited your sister again?

-This time I came to you. - answered Ivan. - I missed you, da.

Y/n felt blush coming to his cheeks, but he quickly surpresed it. They talked a lot again, this time Ivan didn't have to leave. He could stay as long as he wanted and Y/n showed him that he was always welcomed to do so.

-I didn't come here just to talk. -said Ivan, moving closer to Y/n. - I like you, da. - Y/n smiled at that.

He hoped to hear that every time Ivan visited him. Y/n wrapped his arm around Ivan's waist ans pulled him in his lap. Ivan let him do it. They leaned in closer, brushing their lips against each other. That small sensation was enough to make them want more. They slammed their lips together and held each other closeas they kissed.

-You won't have you be alone anymore, da. - smiled Ivan after he pulled away.

-Neither would you. - answered Y/n and pulled Ivan for another kiss. This time Ivan didn't leave, he moved stayed in Y/n's house and in his life.
