It was finally Sunday.

There really wasn't much to do.

I caught up on some school work. Did a couple song covers which I posted to my YouTube.

Kennedy was currently out with Darius. They hit it off since yesterday.

I don't know if they are dating, but they seem to be hanging out and that is always a good sign.

As for me. I was seated on the back patio with my eyes closed just listening to nothing in particular.

My life was crazy.

I had a mom I loved to death with a step father who I despised.

I mean I tolerated him. But if I had to choose giving him water or letting him burn.

I'd let him burn.

It wasn't always like that though.

I didn't know my father growing up. Though my mother did all she could for me. Sometimes it still felt like I been missing out on certain things in life.

My mother met my step father 8 years ago. He was a rich man and he loved me and my mother dearly. But he was controlling, not in the possessive sense where he would hurt me physically.

He wanted to tell me how to dress. What to study. How to speak. Who to date.

I personally didn't like that.
That's why when I applied for university. I applied out of state away from them.

I needed to breathe.

My Jeep was a graduation gift from my parents. I rarely ever ask them for anything but my mom being mom still wants to support me.

Even though I didn't use social media that much. I did have a decent followers count. 16.5k. These were people who loved to hear me sing.

I make extra cash sometimes from promotions or stuff.

My step father didn't see music as something ideal for me and that's where he went wrong. I'd drop my family fast before I quit music.

My phone dinged with a notification. I checked it.

I visited the live to see what was taking place.

Not much, he was just speaking to fans. Telling them a story about a female.

I stayed 10 minutes listening then I was uninterested.
"Hey Jordan", he said right before I exited the live.

I decided to take shower and go get some take out.

It was just past 4.

I made my way to my en-suite bathroom.
