Hinata is running as fast as he can. Tears are streaming down his face. He can't believe what he's just done. He can't believe how stupid he's just been. He just can't believe it.

He's running...running...running

He can't go home. He can't bear to face his mum while in tears. He doesn't want to explain. So, he just keeps running...running...running.

The heavens open and the rain starts beating down. His hair is getting drenched. His face is getting covered in a mixture of rain and tears. His clothes start to get heavy from absorbing the rain.

But he just keeps running.

He doesn't want to stop. He just wants to keep running forever. No matter how sore his feet get, he won't stop running.

He'll run till the end of time and space.

Eventually he starts to slow down...his legs are giving up...forcing him to slow down. He doesn't want to stop, but his body is forcing him to stop.

He falls to his knees. Physically and emotionally broken. His eyes are raw. No more tears are falling but he still can't...stop.

The rain gets heavier. Beating down on him as he curls up on the ground.

Who is this boy? He doesn't recognise him anymore. He can't understand. He's not...Hinata anymore.

Hinata use to be a ball full of energy. A ray of sunshine. Volleyball was all he cared about. But...in the space of a week. Everything has changed. He doesn't know who he is anymore...

Hinata lies on the ground...completely motionless...the only feeling he has is the rain...

11:21pm

Hinata is lying in bed. He's shivering...sniffling. He's staring up at the ceiling. He's right back where he started. What's going to happen? How can he face school on Monday? He really isn't ready for this.

Luckily he didn't have to face his parents. They were out for the evening.

He couldn't face speaking to anyone. He just wanted to be alone with his thoughts.

His thoughts...

His only thought...Fìonn!

He kept replaying the kiss in his head. He can still feel Fìonn's lips. He can still feel his soft hands in his hair. He can still smell him. It's...

"NO! NO! NO!" Hinata screamed banging his fists against his bed. "NO! This can't be! It just...can't!"

This isn't normal! This isn't Hinata! This...just...can't be!

Tears start to stream down his face again. He won't admit it. He doesn't want to. He wants to supress these feelings. He just wants...to forget about everything.

Monday morning arrives once again. Hinata spent his weekend doing everything he could to supress what happened on Friday night. Pretending that it never happened. That's how he was going to "fix" himself. That's how he'll get back to normal.

He heads to school. Like nothing happened. He heads to Homeroom. Like nothing happened. He sits at his desk. Like nothing happened. He heads to volleyball practice. Like nothing happened. He goes home. Like nothing happened.

This was how he spent his days. On repeat. Ignoring Fìonn. Pretending he doesn't exist. That's how he'll recover. That's how he'll finally become the good old Hinata again.

Volleyball is all that matters of course. That is the only thing that should ever matter. Nothing else. No one else.

Each day. Further supressing his feelings. Further supressing his thoughts of that night.

He just has to keep going.

He will forget this happened.

He will forget these feelings.

He will...succeed!
