Hinata has now started to accept himself. It'll still be a little hard to fully become comfortable. However, he is now beginning to understand his feelings. After denying them, he now feels happier that he is accepting them. Those feelings for Fìonn.
He knows that it will only start to become difficult from here. He knows that there will be those that won't accept him. He knows that people may abandon him.
The worse part is that his teammates may turn their backs on him. That is what scares him the most about it all.
But...he doesn't want to turn back now.
Fìonn will be the most difficult part though. There is no way that Fìonn will talk to him. Absolutely no way! He'll curtail and run if Hinata approaches him.
But as his mum says, he just has to make him listen. He has to make things right. He has to tell him...Hmm...he's not quite sure yet. He may know once he starts talking to him. He just has to get Fìonn to listen.

Monday
Hinata has been preparing all weekend to what he was going to say to Fìonn. He still wasn't 100% sure of what he'll say in all honesty. It's more the issue of getting Fìonn to listen. Hinata was determined, however. His eyes were burning with his resolve. He knew what was at stake and he knew what he needed to do.
He heads downstairs to breakfast. His mum was setting the table. His dad was already drinking his coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Good Morning!" Hinata says.
"Good Morning!" His parents respond in unison.
"So?" His mum asks approaching Hinata.
*nods*
"You've figured it out? Are you...?"
"Yep!" Hinata says all giddy.
"Oh that's wonderful! I'm so glad! And you're comfortable with that!?"
"I'm working on it but yes"
"Wonderful!" Exclaims his mother, throwing her arms around him, kissing him all over.
"Mum! You're so embarrassing!" He says attempting to lightly push her away.
"Don't care!" She laughs.
His Dad, curious about the fuss, looking over his newspaper:
"What? What's all this? What's going on?"
Hinata and his mum look at each other:
"Dad... I need to tell you something" he says as he takes a chair at the table.
"What is it?" His Dad enquires.
He's silent for a moment, quickly gathering his thoughts. No turning back now:
"I'm...g-gay" He says nervously.
His dad puts down his newspaper:
"Gay? Are you sure?"
"Yes"
"And you're comfortable with yourself?"
"I'm working on it, but yes".
His Dad thinks for a moment: "Then be proud, and don't you ever be ashamed of it!"
"Really!?" Hinata says. His eyes wide and a glow.
"Of course! You're my son. Always will be. I'll always love you"
"Oh Dad!" Hinata says, welling up.
