It is not just Pasupat,that Arjun learnt from Siva. The three eyed Lord gave him  Sthuna Karnastr to which Shanku Karna,a form of Siva is the presiding deity. Siva gave him Sarvarshastr,the legacy of him ,that established him as the storm God in Rigveda.He taught him Ashmavasastr that showers millions of rocks and boulders on enemy side. He gave him shalabhastr that converts into thousands and lakhs of arrows. And then Arjun got Raudrastr from Mahadev that is different from Pasupat.
There are five vidhis in Dhanurveda. First three are known to every one,Arjun learnt them from Drona. The last two vidhis he learnt from Siva. Only Mahadev knows them. To elaborate the first Vidhi is Prayoga,that means releasing an Astra. The second one is upasamhara,returning the Astra.Not every one can accomplish this feat unless they do penance and it was proved when Aswathama failed to take back Brahmasira but Arjun did it with ease.The third Vidhi is Avarti,distress prevention.Arjun never used this. The fourth one is Prayaschitta,If an innocent person is killed by fault,he can be brought back to life. Siva taught this to Arjun. The fifth Vidhi is Pratighat,consuming the power of the Astra of the rival and turning it back on him. Siva taught this to Arjun.
Apart from this he got every Astra that existed with gods in heaven.Indra made him practice all this treasure of Dhanurveda under the watch full eyes of gods of quarters. Finally Indra came to conclusion that none in this creation can defeat Arjun in battle. He blessed him and asked with a smile.' Will you do a favour to me my son? You have to conquer Kalakeyas Nivata Kavachas who are troubling us with their misdeeds.They are three crore in number,Go and destroy them.That is the guru Dakshina I want from you."

Arjun felt happy as he can do a favour to gods. He ascended the chariot of Indra driven by Matali,Indra's charioteer.The demons live under the ocean in a beautiful golden city.Arjun stopped at the entrance and blew his conch,the Devadutt.The notes of Devadutta created fear in the minds of the demons. They ferociously attacked Arjun who is without any army support.Arjun chopped them into pieces with his thousands of arrows shot within a minute. They got angry and attacked him with stones and arrows.Matali became unconscious due to the severe onslaught by them. Arjun himself drove his chariot and placing it safe he   showered devastating arrows on his rivals.The demons then made rain shower on Arjun by using the Astra of Varun. Arjun shot Soshanastr on that rain shower and dried up the rain completely.Matali got back his consciousness and hailed Arjun's valour.
Then the demons showered rain of boulders which was made useless by Arjun with Vajrastr.Then the demons created darkness every where with their power of illusion.Matali was overcome by fear as he could not see Arjun.He shouted.' Son of Indra,Where are you? " Arjun assured him .' I will destroy this darkness Don't worry." He shot Suryastr and removed the darkness.
Arjun finally unleashed Vajrastr and killed Nivata Kavachas along with all their associates.The gods showered flowers on Arjun for his extraordinary feat. On his way back Arjun attacked Hiranyapur  the abode of sixty thousand Kalkeya demons.The demons flew into the sky along with their chariots . Arjun brought them down with his shafts and after breaking their illusion killed them completely with Raudrastr.

Indra presented him a crown made with unique jewels. He placed it on his head and hugged him with affection. You will be called ' KIRITI" from now onwards.He proudly declared...

Prabhas Tirth gave Panchali the relief she desparately waiting for. Her Sakha Govind came with Satyaki to meet them when he got message of their arrival. Panchali sent a message not to bring Subhadra or Abhi as they will be shattered to see them in the robes of ascetics. Abhi could never tolerate to see his Jyesht mata's plight. But her dear friend Satya came and with tears hugged her close and wept. Krishna pulled her back and pacified her. ' Satya don't demoralise my Sakhi. She has the grit and determination to fight the odds.
He then enquired..And Krishnaa why are you looking so indisposed? Are you eating food or not? I hope Bheemsen is not consuming every food particle created in Akshaya Patra." Bheem laughed and then becoming serious informed Krishna. ' your Sakhi is stubborn,Kanha. Ever since Arjun went she is eating only once a day. She is doing Katyayani  vrath and rigorously following strict rules. I tried to change her mind but of no use. Please tell her to take care of herself. She is not in a state to travel all around. See her feet ruptured and swollen."
Bheem had moisture in his eyes. He went out to control himself leaving them alone. Satya fired at Draupadi.' Why are you doing all this for such a person who cared the least about you? He doesn't love you at all. That is why he didn't prevent the Dice game. Now he is enjoying heavenly pleasures."

Krishna placed his hand on Satya's shoulder.' You know what he is doing right now? After rigorous penance he got training in heaven continuously. Just now he conquered Three crores of Nivata Kavachas and their followers and sixty thousand Kalakeyas single handedly. Is this the enjoyment you mean? Satya,Parth became a pawn in the game of fate. He is desparately trying to become worthy enough to avenge Krishnaa's insult. Don't ever doubt his love for her. He never slept peacefully atleast for a while in heaven. Forgive him Satya, Enough of your blame."
Satya widened her eyes.' Woh. What a feat? How could  he achieve it single handedly? ...No no I am not supposed to praise him. I hate him Panchali." Satya said with a smile. Krishna and Draupadi laughed at her heartfully. As Satya went to greet Eldest,Panchali asked Krishna in a broken voice. ' How is he? Is he well after such severe battle? Who will help him relax?" She said worriedly. Krishna smiled and teased her. ' All the heavenly beauties are attending on him but he is chanting the name of a certain Fire born." Draupadi pouted and Her Govind affectionately placed his hand on her head.' He is fine. Don't worry. He will come back to you pure and Pious. He will not break his promise this time."
