Two weeks later:
Days had passed and Sana couldn't be happier with the way there was a drastic change in behavior of Sidharth. He was less grumpy and she was able to enjoy his company in late nights watching movies and talking random stuff before she had shifted in her own place.. Yes her own place.. Since Sidharth's mom was back in the house and with signed contract, with a heavy heart she had shifted to her new apartment.. She had finally found a small one room apartment.. Which was not as lavish as Sidharth's place.. In fact much simpler but cozy enough.. She knew she could not spend too much money on rent as she has just joined a new job.. Saving money was necessary..
But the days she had spent along with Sidharth was new phase for her since she felt like getting to know him better than before.. He had shared his dreams and wishes and curiously asked her about her dreams.. Her heart fluttered the way he would give full attention to her words.. This change was new to her as well and she knew she would never regret staying beside him during his bad days..
But now that she was back in her apartment she felt loneliness creep on her slowly.. She missed Sidharth and his family.. Most importantly she missed seeing him daily.. But she knew for now it was better to remain like this.. She was not ready to invade in his life unless he let her in..
Surprisingly during these weeks Virat had become a good friend of her.. she spent lunch hours telling him about her life.. It felt good to have someone around who listened to your problems.. With constant probing of Virat she had shared about Sidharth and her life.. His accident and how it had effected their relationship.. Virat had been understanding and listened as she vented out her feelings.. Sana had been smart to tell Virat beforehand that she can only offer friendship.. How can she even think of looking at someone else beside Sidharth when he had her heart..
Sana sighed and stood up as the students finished the exam.. She smiled as she collected the unit test papers and took a breath of relief realizing finally it was weekend and she could get some rest.. A hot cup of hot chocolate with some good movie to watch sounded great right now.. Sana took her bag and headed outside to leave when she bumped to Virat..
"Oh sorry.. I did not see you sir.." Sana apologized with a sheepish smile..
Virat frowned at her.. "Sir? I thought we were friends Shehnaaz.."
Sana giggled.. "Ok sorry.. Sir.." She teased him as he rolled his eyes with a chuckle..
"So finally weekend.. Do you plan to enjoy it well?" He questioned her curiously..
Sana was going to reply when she noticed Sidharth's car stop infront of them.. He got out and walked towards her.. However his eyes was not on her but locked on Virat..
"Sidharth.." Sana spoke surprised.. "What are you doing here?.."
There was a tensed silence as he was frowning at Virat without answering her.. Sana was feeling awkward as she saw Virat and Sidharth have a staring showdown and she was once again surprised with Sidharth's behavior.. Did he really dislike seeing Virat around her..
Finally he looked away and she saw his eyes soften and he glanced at her.. Her heartbeat sped up as he started at her..
"I have come to drop you home.." He replied to her..
Sana was going to reply when Virat interrupted "She has her own ride.."
Sidharth once again glanced at Virat.. his eyes filled with irritation.. "Did I ask you? Are you Shehnaaz? Why are you replying to me?" He spoke annoyed..
"Well I can answer on her behalf because she is my friend.." Virat gave Shehnaaz a smile and looked back at Sidharth..
Sana raised her eyebrow seeing the way both of them were glaring at eachother.. She cleared her throat and spoke.. "Sidharth I have a ride to get home.."
