I remember only
wishing for someone
like you at
every opportunity
I can get my hands on.
Shooting stars,
blowing out my candles,
prayer- yet none of these
measured up to your
expectations.
Please tell me why you
left with no goodbye?
If I no longer deserve
your presence, I'm at
least deserving of a
reason, right?
I misunderstood
my value to you.
It's my fault for
not acknowledging
your importance
to me at every
waking moment of
my silent life.
Hold me accountable
for driving you away.
I want to plead,
but I know you no
longer listen.
I promise at the
very second of your
return, I'll treasure
every moment I have
with you and express
how much you
mean to me.
I will grow into
a person that is
capable of
handling your
circumstances.
I cannot be stronger,
but I will be wiser.
I pray that one day,
you and I will be
reunited.
