I'm at the bare minimum yeah!

Remus kept looking at Roman in concern, worried for his brother even as he let the nurses and such tend to him and check he was okay. He wanted to go over there, but also wasn't sure if Roman would want more crowding, so he stayed put. Instead, he distracted himself and looked at Patton. The smaller mer was laying on the water splashed ground as some people put soaked clothes gently on his scales, wanting to wait a moment to confirm he was okay before putting him in a tank. He was close enough to lightly grab the mers hands to comfort him, knowing him a bit from Roman before he was taken.

*Over with Thomas*

Thomas knew he was forgetting something. He couldn't place it though. Oh! He forgot to call the police! He quickly dials the number.

Police: Yes?

Thomas: I got Roman and Patton back. The location where we found them is **** Nothing New About This Road.

Police: Thank you we'll be right there to arrest him or them.

Thomas: Thank you so much.

Police: Don't Thank me yet. Your mermaid might have to testify in court.

Thomas:..Okay...Can I hang up now?

Police: Sure.

Thomas hangs the phone up. If Roman has to testify and he can't be up there with him...He exhales and sits down.

Janus and Zyler were still home so theres no worry of them getting caught up with the cops.

Patton sighed at being put back in water, relaxing and shutting his eyes. Roman was worried at first, going over to him and hugging him.

Roman: are you okay??

Patton, laughing softly: I'm okay, worry about yourself Roman.

Remus swam over and hugged both of them as tight as possible without hurting them.

Remus: Shut up, both of you get to be worried over.

Roman, snapping back teasingly: You do to! You were starved!

Thomas comes in distressed.

Roman: Thomas, What's wrong?

Thomas: You might have to testify in court...

Roman: I'll do it. To protect Patton and Remus.

Thomas: Really Thanks.

(With the police.

)The police officers search the building. They eventually get to Philip's office.

Police Officer: Philip?

Philip: Yes?

The police officer puts her hand cuffs on him.

Police Officer: You are under arrest for the kidnapping of two minors. You have the right to remain  silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you.

Patton looks curiously at Roman and Remus: What did he say? Was he okay?

Roman nodded: Hes okay, he just said he was glad were okay and was worried about us.

A lie.

Remus looked at him, then nodded to confirm to Patton, smiling. Remus: Now! Why don't we loosen up!

He lets them go, then begins a game of tag, all of them laughing and yelling happily. A good stress relief, even if it was 'childish'.

(Down at the police station.)

Philip: I am innocent!

Police Officer: Let's see what the judge has to say about that.

June 8th actually. (I don't know when this takes place so a few days after this makes sense.)Philip: I'm innocent.

The police officer walks out and calls Thomas.

Thomas: Hello?

Police Officer: I'm sorry to inform you but Roman will need to testify. We don't have enough hard evidence of what he did...

Thomas: Okay. He'll do it. Will I be allowed with him?

Police Officer: I can't be sure yet.Thomas: Okay thanks for informing me. Goodbye.

Thomas hangs up.

How will he tell Roman?
