Hi! I like having a certain amount of chapters for my stories and I'm stopping at where I think is a good stopping point per chapter.
Logan: Roman,how did you get that scar?
Roman's eyes go wide with surprise and he calls Patton over. They talk in hush whispers not that they could understand Patton and Roman.
Roman: The-The workers gave it to me...I refused to entertain people...
Now Logan's eyes went wide with surprise. He inhales to stabilize himself.
Logan: That is a logical answer. I need to keep moving on.Logan left Virgil alone with Roman and Patton. He pulls out his phone and dials a number.
??: Hello?Logan: Hey Thomas, I need to inform you of something.Logan tells Thomas what happened.
Thomas: Yeah, I'll prepare something and send Emile and Remy.
Virgil looks between the two mers, then decides to talk to them.
Virgil: So... how did you guys end up here?
He kept glancing at their tails, the scales shiny.
Virgil, awkwardly mumbling: Sorry, your scales are cool. Its probably weird to stare so—
Remy and Emile arrive. They have special things to transport the mermaids. With Thomas on the phone they stop at the front desk.
Remy: Hey babe. We're going to need to transport the mermaids. You injured them and putting them on display can cause trauma.
Worker2: Who do you work for?
Remy: Thomas Sanders.
Worker2: Prove it.
Remy hands the phone over to the worker and after a few minutes Logan is leading them to Roman and Patton.
Logan: Roman, this is my friends. They are going to take you to a safer place where we can help you. Would you tell Patton? We're not going to force you come with us
.Roman: I'll go but Patton we have to answer for himself.
Patton is looking at all the new people, confused and slightly scared now. He wished he'd learned their language
.Patton: Roman, who are they? What is he saying?
Roman translates what Logan told him.
Roman: They are Logan friends. They said that they can make sure we are okay. I think I'm going with them. What about you?
The cliff hangers are amazing but the next chapter would already be done.
