Chapter Three: My new powers

It has been a few days since I met five. He told me it would be best if we wait a few days so we can regain our energy back. Me and five found shelter in the library in what was left from the academy. It is early morning and five was still sleeping. Today we will search and look for more goods. I saw Five moving, signaling that he had just woken up. So I grabbed the bread we found, peanut butter, and the very last of the marshmallows to make him a sandwich. I saw him sit up.

"Morning Five, I made you a sandwich, your favorite."

He got up and and grabbed the sandwich from my hands. I got up and grabbed a spoon and stuck it into the peanut butter. I ended up getting some on my nose but I didn't notice. Five started to laugh at me.

"What?" I asked." Oh it's nothing Y/n." He started to laugh again but this this he laughed even harder.

I could tell he was lying so I dipped my finger in the peanut butter and put some on his nose and he smirked at me. I then laughed really hard.

"Omg I'm so gonna get you back for this Y/n." He told me. "Haha I got you!"I replied back.

He looked at me and smiled at me. It was nice to see someone smile for once. We both wiped our noses and he looked back at me.

"Hey Y/n, do you wanna try to use your powers today?" He asked me. "Five Do you think we are even ready for that?" "I sure hope so Y/n, it's been a few days and we should have our energy back." "Okay that sounds fun."

Me and Five then walked around while he explained everything he knew about time travel.

"Okay so Y/n I want you to walk over towards that." I walked over to the corner of the torn down ice cream shop. "Okay now I want you to come over to me in a slight jog and release that energy. I want you to think about appearing right in-front of me. I  want you to come here and only here." He told me.

I ran to him in a slight job only thinking about where he wanted me, I released that energy and found myself in front of him. I moved from place to place, I was really proud. We were really close, there was so much tension between us so I backed away a little, I didn't want to make him uncomfortable or anything.

"That was so cool!" I shouted as I jumped into his arms and he hugged me. It had been so long since I hugged someone. I felt safe in his arms.

"Y/n I'm proud of you." I smiled at him and he put me down. "You just teleported!" He told me as we danced around in excitement. "Hey Five?" I asked him. "Yeah Y/n." "Do you wanna go search and see if we can find anymore goods, with me?" I asked him "Sure let's go."

We stood up and grabbed our bags then left. It was still very bright out so I think we will have plenty of time. It had almost been an hour and we stumbled upon a thrift store.

"Y/n do you wanna go inside?" He asked me. "Yes!" I said in excitement.

We walked in and saw everything was still standing. Five walked to the boys section and I walked to the girls. I walked around for a bit and found a sun dress. It was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen.

Fives POV:
I had walked around and saw a T-shirt, it had the Academy logo on it with me and my siblings on it as well. I started to tear up, I missed my family, but I could never leave Y/n behind. I smiled just thinking about her. I wiped my tears and looked around for more clothes. All together I found some comfy sweatpants and the shirt with the Academy on it.

Y/n POV:
The dress was so pretty so I just had to put it on. I looked for a mirror so I could see what I looked like with it on. I thought it looked so nice on me, I walked back into the clothes section and also found a red sweatshirt that had a humming bird on it. Red was my favorite color. I wondered around the electronic section and saw a radio.

"Five I found a radio! I think it may still work."

He came over by me with some clothes in his hands, he set his clothes and bags down beside my things. He stood back up and turned the music on. He put out is hand for me to grab and said "May I have this dance?"
