Chapter eight:Forever has an expiration date

After me and Five woke up we packed up our tent and belongings. Five suggested that we get married now since there was nothing to wait for.

"We should go find our outfits, there is a bridal shop ten minutes from here." He said as I smiled at him.

After we had gotten our outfits we found a pretty field filled with flowers and decided to get married right there, I picked out a few of my favorite flowers from the field and walked down a path to meet Five. As soon as our eyes met we both started to tear up.

Fives POV:
She looked so beautiful, I started to tear up and saw her tearing up as well. She walked down the rest of the path and she then stood next to me and we faced each other. I grabbed a piece of paper out of my pocket.

"Y/n you have always been there for me in a way no one else ever has, not even my family before the apocalypse. My favorite moment of you was when we first met." I giggled as more tears fell down my face, I then continued reading my vows. "When we first met you offered me a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich." She laughed a little. "Those were my favorite food, Y/n I promise to never leave you and always stay by your side, Always And Forever, I love you ." It was now her turn to read her vows.

"Five you had been there for me since day one, helping me by teaching me how to use my powers and what to do. I will always love the forehead kiss you place on my head every night before we go to bed. Five I promise to be loyal and stick by your side through sickness and in health, Always And Forever.I love you so much, never ever forget that."

I lost it and started to cry some more. "I love you too." I said while looking her in the eye. " I Do." We both said as we looked each other in the eye. "You may kiss the bride." She mumbled and giggled.

I then cupped her face with my my hands while looking her in the eye then I kissed her with such passion. She put her hands on my neck as I continued to kiss her. We both pulled away and took a few breaths. I kissed her again and began leaving marks down her neck as she giggled.

"Five." She said as I then stopped kissing her. "Save that  for our honey moon." "We get to have a honey moon?" "Of course we can, we can do whatever we want!" We both laughed.

Y/n POV:
That day was the best day in my entire life, I married the one I loved. Later that evening after I married Five I asked him a question.

"Now that we are married and are adults." He smiled and I then continued. "Five do you want children?" He looked at me and said "Of course I want children, but Y/n think about it. We are going through this whole apocalypse and how would we feed a baby and take care of another being when it's hard enough to take care of each other?"

I looked at him and felt a tear going down my cheek, I then looked in a different direction, I didn't want him to see me cry.

"Y/n?" He looked at me and wiped the tears off my cheek and gave me a hug. "Your right Five." I said. "Y/n maybe we could travel together back to our original time line, save the world and after that we could try for a baby. That seem like a good plan?"

I looked over at him and smiled, that was a good plan. "That sounds like a good plan."

Me and Five ate and then watched the stars and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning realizing we were low on supplies, I then woke Five up.

"Five We are running low on supplies, I'm gonna go and head to to get some more, you can rest. Just promise me you'll stay here." "I'll stay here, I love you." "I love you too." I said back.

He went back to bed and I got out a bag and ate the last can of food and left. I pulled a map out of my bag and marked on the map where Five was and I then began my trip across town. It had now almost been two hours so I decided I should head back.

Fives POV:
It had been a few hours and Y/n should be on her way back, she hasn't been gone for even that long but I already missed her.

I herd something move "Y/n are you back already? Did you find anything?"

I turned around to look at her but it wasn't her, it was a tall lady. The lady had white , short and somewhat wavy hair and she carried a big brief case.

"Who are you?" I asked. Who was she? Had she survived the apocalypse, does she have special abilities like me and Y/n?

This lady looked over at me. "It seems to me that your all alone, I can change that if you just come and work for me." "Who are you?" I asked again wanting an answer. "Oh how rude of me, you can call me the Handler. This job would be a great fit for you and if you accept the job then I'll give you something in return."

I wanted more than anything to get my family back and save the world with Y/n. She would be happy right now, after we save the world I told her we could start a family.

"It's five correct?" "Yes and how did you know my name?" "Don't worry about that, will you accept the job?" "What about Y/n can she come with me?"

I hope she can I couldn't think about doing anything without her, she is my world.

"She unfortunately can't, I'm only looking for you to work for me you'd be perfect for the job."

What am I gonna tell her? If I did this I'd be saving her in a way, I will come back for her. "Deal." I said with instant regret but I have to save my family I have to save her. The handler grabbed my hand and then we disappeared.

Y/n POV:
After a very long walk I was finally back, I had reached the hill and I started to run up to see Five.

"Five! I'm back!" I shouted with excitement only to get no response.

I got up the hill and checked around the in and outside of the tent, I couldn't find him. I think he left me again, maybe he went out and looked for me. I decided that I was going to wait for him to come back, I made something to eat with the new food I found. After that I took out a book to read that I found today under a pile of wood. A few hours later I was bored, I missed Five.

It had now been a few weeks and Five still never returned, I don't think he's coming back this time. Today I'm going to pack up my things and go scavenging again and go back to the town where I met Five and I'm gonna just stay there for a while.

Fives POV:
It's been a few weeks without Y/n and I miss her so much, I never should have left her alone, I should have left a note. How stupid of me. Today the Handler has assigned me a mission where I am set to assassinate anyone who messes with the timeline, today I have to kill an innocent man and a woman I didn't think they did anything wrong. I took pride in my work but I never actually liked it. I hated it so much but I was also good at it for some reason.Why? I was doing this for Y/n and my family, I have to save them all.
