Chapter Seven: where is he?

I woke up and Five was no where to be seen. I checked outside and still couldn't find him. I began to worry. Did he leave me? Is he hurt? My heart began to beat faster and faster, I was having a panic  attack. I put my head in between my knees and started to count back from ten.

"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, Five-" I started to cry, I forced myself to count again. "Four! Three! Two! And One!" I yelled. Then I looked around and found something from each color of the rainbow.

I managed to calm myself down for a bit. I sighed and looked around in my bag and found one can of canned food, I then opened it and ate it. I felt tired so I went a took a nap. I woke up about an hour later and searched our area again and still no sign of Five. I decided to continue to wait for him, I couldn't leave. What if he were to come back?

I stood up waiting for him and didn't see him so I decided to start reading my favorite book again. That's when I herd a noise, something was moving in the bushes.

"Five?" I called out and I got no response. "Five?" I called out again and I still got no response. That's when a deer came out of the bushes. I had not seen other life in this place other than Five of course. I Teared up just thinking about him. Then I grabbed my knife and teleported onto the deer. The deer ran around and I then stabbed it in the arm a few times and it fell to the ground.

"I'm so sorry." I said as I stabbed its heart. I petted the deer watching as it took its last breath. "I'm so sorry." I said as I cried a little until I herd more noises. I saw even more movement and then Five appeared.

"Five Hargreeves where on earth have you been!" I shouted. "I'm sorry Y/n I just noticed we were out of some supplies and went scavenging, I didn't know I would be out this long. I didn't want to wake you I'm so sorry." "Five you had me worried sick, I thought you were gonna leave me." I said with tears running down my cheek. 

I ran up to him and jumped into his arms and kissed him  before he could even say anything.

"I would never leave you Y/n. I love you." I glanced at Five and said "I love you too. Promise me you'll never leave me." "I promise."

He looked over at the deer seeing it's lifeless body. "Y/n why is there a dead deer over there?" "Oh um.. so I herd noises  and I thought it was you at first so I called your name but I got no response. Then the deer came out of the bushes and I grabbed the knife from my bag and teleported on it then killed it."

Gosh I still feel bad for killing that deer but it's the circle of life. He looked over at me and giggled.

"I guess we are eating good tonight huh." I glanced over at him and responded with "yea I guess we are."

I kissed him and he kissed me back.Five walked into the tent and got out the pan then started a fire. Five made me and him burgers but without cheese or the buns. I was happy he was back, I don't know what I'd  do without him. He is the love of my life.

After we were done eating Me and Five cleaned up our messes and put everything away. I climbed into the tent and he did the same. I changed into something more comfy and cuddle up to Five. I never took my eyes off him that night, he was so cute when he was sleeping.
