Den wasn't sure why anyone would host a party right before finals began, but he figured it would be a good stress reliever, and he'd be damned if he ever missed a good party. A few rounds of beer pong had already made him tipsy as he wandered around and looked for his buddies. He didn't really feel like following a girl into one of the empty bedrooms tonight.

When he couldn't find his friends, he decided to pick up a can of beer and befriend it. Best friend. Beer friend. Beerst friend. Who needed real people? This can would do just fine.

Esti had found Den on the couch after a little bit of searching, walking over and sitting next to him as she leaned in and put her lips to his ear to talk to him over the blaring music.

"Pip's looking for you!" she hoped he heard that.

"Huh?" He turned his head in the direction of her voice, suddenly nose to nose with her. "Hi!"

She snickered a little. Oh boy, she could already tell Den had a few drinks. "Hi! Pip is looking for you!"

"Who?" It was hard for him to hear over the party noise. It was also hard because he wasn't really focusing on what she was saying, just her face.

"Pip!" She yelled louder, the smile on her face only growing.

He frowned a little, furrowing his brows. "I don't know any Bibs!"

Esti broke into laughter, shaking her head as she stood up, offering her hand to him. Hopefully she could bring him back to his room or something.

Den happily took her hand and used it to pull himself up, planting a quick kiss on her cheek. "Let's go see Rib!"

She pulled him outside of the party, bringing him further away as she pulled her phone out, sighing gently. "Pip's worried about you, Den." She hummed, not looking at him as she dialed Pip's number.

"Ohhhhhh, wait." Den pulled out his phone and looked at it, seeing that he was in an ongoing call with Pip that was already over an hour long. He must've forgotten to hang up a long time ago or something. "I'm okay Pip! Bye."

Esti continued to drag Den to where Pip and his room was before Pip had told her that Den lost the keys a few days ago and Pip was the only one with the spare keys and he currently was working his one of... maybe 13 shifts that week.

"So where should I bring hi--"

"Just your room, please! I need to go,--"

And that was when the phone call ended.

Esti sighed and started walking in the opposite direction, holding hands with Den as she dragged him to her dorm room instead.

Den swung their hands between them violently like a little kid. "Pip is nice. Let's prank him. Tell him I died."

"What?!" Esti turned around to look at Den, shocked. "No! That's so mean! Cmon, you're coming to my place." She sighed, dragging him along.

When she got him situated on the couch with a bowl of chicken nuggets and a glass of water, she sighed and sat next to him, leaning her head back on the couch.

Den picked one nugget up, and inspected it closely. "What shape is this?"

"A heart." She leaned her head on his shoulder, looking at the nugget before forming a small 'v' shape with her thumb and index finger, raising it up to the nugget. "See?"

"Ah. You need one of those, right?" Den reached over and dropped the nugget down her shirt, then laughing. "There you go!"

"Ugh, you're still a dick, even when you're tipsy." she sighed, taking the nugget out of her shirt before eating it. "Meanie."
