"You look like a walking Gucci store." The model greets Haneul with a raised eyebrow. The said man is wearing a blue Gucci jacket with golden embroidery and a tiger patch on the breast pocket topped with screeners of the same brand to go with some denim jeans, a double GG leather belt completing the look.

"One may think after being friends for three years, you'd respect my life choices but no, you're still a rude brat." Haneul scowls, shaking his head and crossing arms over his chest.

"One may think you'd stop wasting money, but no, you're still a rich snob." Dae Ho jeers, eyes observing the staff setting up the set behind Haneul. The photoshoot for the fall season started a few days ago, keeping him busy.

"Says the model wearing branded clothes."

"It's my job, I get paid to do this. Whereas, Gucci doesn't give you a penny." Dae Ho chuckles with a glint in his eyes. "They don't even know you exist."

"They will. And when they do, I dare you to dye your hair red." The doctor announces, a bemusing smile taking over his face.

Dae Ho is never one to back down from a challenge, enjoying the excitement and thrill that comes with it. He knows Haneul is wholly aware of the fact, usually challenging the younger to rope him into doing things. But Gucci noticing Haneul is a one in a million chance, Dae Ho's victory already being set.

"Oh, you're on, Kim Haneul." The model shakes his hand firmly with the one Haneul has been holding out to him.

The doctor whips out his mobile phone, posting a tweet.

"Now that it's out of the way, where's eomma?" Haneul asks, slipping his mobile phone back in his jacket

"Now that it's out of the way, where's eomma?" Haneul asks, slipping his mobile phone back in his jacket. "Also, are you coming to Minjae's place tomorrow?"

"I can't, I've vocal lessons for the day." Dae Ho never really made connections outside of work but somehow Haneul had pulled him into his friend circle. When the doctor had explained their story without revealing Dae Ho's illegal past, the men warmed up to him.

"What about next week, I wanted to buy the rings for my engagement."

"Yeah, sure. Just tell me beforehand."

There's a tap on the model's shoulder. "Dae Ho-ssi, we're ready for the shoot."

A few days later, Dae Ho and Haneul go out to buy the rings for the doctor's engagement.

"I'd like to have the initials 'H&N' engraved on the inside." Haneul states removing the ring on his finger. "Could you deliver it to my house?"

"Of course, Mr. Kim. Just fill in your information." The woman gives him a clipboard with a form. "The delivery will take about a week."

"No problem." Haneul uncaps the pen to write, taking a quick look at Dae Ho who has his eyes squinted at something outside.

"Once again, congratulations Mr. Kim."

"Thank you," the doctor bubbles, a relaxed smile crossing his face. He walks towards the exit, head searching for the man who had been with him just a moment ago.

"Dae Ho," Haneul calls out in a small voice only to be pulled down at the side behind some artificial trees of the mall. "What are yo-"

"Sshh, keep quiet," the younger whispers, a finger coming up to his lips. He gestures with his chin towards the table a few meters away from them.

"Is that...Minji?" Haneul's brows draw together trying to get a good look at the figures seated at the table. "Who is that boy?"

"Do you think I'd be hiding here if I knew," Dae Ho deadpans, his voice an octave lower.

"Oh no, he's in his overprotective mode. Lord save me, I can't deal with this man."

"You can le- did he just touch her? I'll punch the crap out-"

"He gave her a damn tissue, are you blind?" Haneul pinches the space between his eyes in frustration, observing the exact scene the brother is exaggerating. "You want to punch the crap out of him, are you a gangster? A gangster model isn't acceptable, you know."

"Their fingers may have touched and he'd do it later, if not now."

Haneul almost smacks the model on his head. He makes a sound at the back of his throat and stands up abruptly. "Minji!"

"Are you crazy!" Dae Ho whisper shouts, moving away but Haneul wounds a hand around his shoulder, holding him in place.

Minji turns her head to the voice, eyes widening but soon replacing with a cheery smile. She places her sandwich on the table, wipes her hands, and walks towards the doctor and her brother. It has been a few months since the girl had gotten bionic limbs, replacing her paralyzed legs. The first thing Dae Ho had done after earning from modeling.

"Hello," she greets, her ponytail swaying sideways. "What brings you guys here?"

"We were getting rings for my engagement."

"Oh really? I was helping Jun pick a necklace for his fiancé too." Minji giggles, her eyes crinkling at the corners.

Haneul turns to Dae Ho with a teasing grin. "Your brother-"

"—Not a word," the model glares, shaking his head slowly. His eyes look anywhere but at Haneul's, a light hue of red rising up his face due to embarrassment.

"Huh? What happened?" Minji asks.

"Don't worry about it. You can go back to your friend." The brother replies with a smile, patting Minji's head.

"Alright."

Haneul stares at the retreating figure of the girl. "You know Dae, one day she'll actually find someone and you'll have to accept it."

"...I know. When the time is right, I will, Haneul. Trust me."

"And start calling me hyung, you brat."

"Why are you so random?" Dae Ho scoffs, walking forward. "Hyung is for someone who's considered older, you, on the other hand, is a man-baby."

"Why can't you just do it? Will you ever do it?"

"I will do it when it's a life and death situation."

"Tch, you're impossible."

Dae Ho's nap is disturbed due to the repeated banging on the main door. "What do you want?" He bites at the man standing outside with a shit-eating grin, the light in his eyes rivaling the sun.

Haneul shoves his mobile phone screen in Dae Ho's face. "Kiss goodbye to your black hair!"

'Oh, hell no.'
