Chapter six - Keefe's POV

Well looks like I'm NOT going to fosters house for awhile.

BUT once I got to breezy bay, I felt better. Nothing could stop me here.

All my thoughts wandered off as I embraced the fresh breeze that the island air gave me.

I sat down on the shore, I looked out into the blue ocean, there was some kind of fruit on the island. It was brown.

I'd always looked at these fruits, and once tried them. They were pretty delicious. But I couldn't get myself to eat them this time.

All I could do was... look at them. They reminded me of Fosters eyes. My heart ached for her. All I want is to be with her.

"Keefe!" Someone said behind me. I jumped up and tackled the person. It was Sophie. And she was beautiful. She had some of bianas makeup on and her hair was half up half down. She was wearing a gorgeous dress and matching shoes.

I stared at her as Sophie blushed. I realized what I was doing and helped her get up.

"Sophie... how did you get here?" I asked.

"Um... I don't know, I just thought about where you were and them. Well I just teleported here."

"But how? Oh, never mind, why would you want to come here? To see the island?" I asked, there was something in my mind. Hope.

"Um... no. I came here.... to see y-you." Sophie said, looking at her feet.

"Um, why?" My hope grew bigger. I tried to hold my words down as she spoke.

"I-I just had to see you. I-I,"

"Sophie, sh. What's the matter?"

She looked me straight in the eyes, and so did I.

"I love you." We both said it at the same time.

We kissed, and it was the best moment of my life.

When she pulled away, I picked her up and spun her around. I laughed and so did she. I carried her over to the shore and we sat down. She put her head on my shoulder. I loved every moment of it.

Apparently, we fell asleep. When I woke up, foster was snuggled up on top of me. Her morning face was cute. I stared at her. She woke and punched me playfully.

"Morning Foster." I said smirking at her. She rolled her eyes, and looked away, blushing.

"Sooo," I said.

"Um, keefe? I meant what I said last night," she paused and chewed her lip. "I love you."

"I love you too." I leaned in for a kiss.

We were there most of the day. Sophie fearing that her friends would strangle her, especially Fitz. And me, hoping Grady wouldn't kill me.

"Keefe?"

"Ya?"

"I don't ever want this moment to end. I wanna stay here forever."

"Me too foster. Me too."

"Hey, do you have any food?"

"Oh! Ya, come with me." She took my hand and we started walking towards the fruit trees. I think humans would say that these looked like coconuts.

I'm not sure, I watched as Sophie ate five of them.

"These are sooooo good." She said as she continued to munch on her sixth one.

"Do... you wanna go back?" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"I don't want to... but, if we don't go back..." She trailed off. "Ya, we should probably go back. Sorry."

"No need to be sorry! You just gave me the best night of my life! I mean it's not like mommy dearest gave me snuggles at night!"

We both trailed of after that.

I stood up and offered her my hand, she took and as she stood up she put her head in my shoulder.

"Keefe? Are we gonna tell anyone?"

"I-I don't know."

"We don't have to if you don't want to!"

"No! I just... don't know how Fitz will react."

"Me neither, maybe we should just keep this our little secret for now?" She stood in front of me and held out her hand. I shook it and she kissed me once more. When she pulled away, she giggled and dragged me into the water.

She splashed me and I splashed her back. It went like that for about an hour.

We were drying off on the shore when remembered what Grady and Eadiline had said, about them leaving. For who knows how long. And then I felt really guilty.

"Sophie? We might want to go."

"Why? It's so nice here."

"Um just because were already gonna be I a lot of trouble, do we might as well just go back."

She looked at me confusion on her face. "Keefe? That's not like you, whenever you do something like this you... well you just take the risk, you don't care what coming."

"Ya, I know but... look you just need to go see Grady and Eadiline. Ok?"

"Uh, I don't want to, but for you? Oh I guess."

"Great. Come on!"

I helped Sophie up, she didn't look like she wanted to go back, but she'd later thank me for this.

I leaped is back to havenfield, I told Sophie about the Grady incident, and she said she was going to try and help. Although I didn't tell her about what I had heard.

Sophie told me to wait for her to go back to Everglen, so that we could explain together, but I knew that she would probably be devastated that Grady and Eadiline were leaving so she'd probably want to spend a lot of time with them.

I just walked over to callas pancakes tree, it would help the time pass by.

I fell into a deep sleep, one that was full of nightmares.
