Different Path (Kakashi AU)

Chapter 1

I stare in horror at the lifeless body lying limp in a pool of crimson blood on the cold flood in front of me.

"F-Father..."

I feel tears starting to stream out of my eyes.

I stumble backwards into the hard wall. I look at his face.

a small line of blood dribbling down the side of his mouth.

"NOOO!"

"Kakashi! Wake up! Your shaking!"

I wake up with a jolt and relax at Obito's yawning face.

Obito slept over at my place as his he got into a fight with his family.

"Were you having a nightmare?"

I roll my eyes.

"Oh my, the great Kakashi Hatake gets nightmares! Did you hear that! he is human just like all of us- oof!"

I threw my pillow at him.

He bursts out laughing while lying flat on the ground causing me to laugh.

Obito is the only one who lights up my days.

He gets back up, throws the pillow back at me and jumps on me.

I caught it and brace for the flying Obito.

He lands on my stomach.

After a while of wrestling, we eventually get on with our daily routine.

I cooked myself and Obito breakfast.

There is no way in hell I am letting Obito in my kitchen.

He once set a cup of ramen on fire! How does one even do that!

We walk to the training grounds together.

"Ne Obito, you're early for once"

"Rin!"

I smile to myself.
