Today I was going to be sent on my first 'mission'. It was an assassination of a feudal lord.
There are 5 main feudal lords which belong to the 5 great nations, but in places like the village hidden in the grass or the village hidden in the rain, they also have feudal lords but they aren't as powerful. They mainly just are in charge of the non-shinobi villages.
There is one feudal lord, of the village hidden in the smoke who is the target of the mission. We have been hired by an anonymous person to kill him.
Leader-sama has told me that before they can properly start the Akatsuki's plan they must raise enough money which is why we are taking commissions.
I will be the one assassinating the feudal lord. This is like a kind of initiation mission to see if I am one of them. Accompanying me are Obito, Sasori and Deidara. Originally it was just Sasori, Deidara and I, but Obito- I mean Tobi wouldn't stop begging Pein.
