I've thought about doing AJ's pov for so long now, that I just couldnt wait any longer. But, I had to finish Blake and Amber's car ride. And I felt like you guys needed to know a bit more about AJ. Chapter 19

For a while, it was silent and awkward. I guess we really didn't know where to start. For me, personally, it was that I haven't hung out with him in forever and to just jump into him giving me a ride home. It was just a little strange. "So..." I began. He seemed a bit shocked at first that I actually was in the car with him. "So...uh, what's up how's you life going? From what I hear, it sounds like it's going awesome." He smirked. This got me a bit curious and confused. "From what you hear? What do you mean?" I asked.

Blake chuckled. "There's no secrets in a city this small. Especially involving one of the most popular guys around. Well, not including me but, you know." I laughed. "Yeah, because you're so cool." I said sarcastically. When I looked at his face he looked a little insulted. "I'm just kidding you know that." He laughed. "Wow, you really fell for that face?" Oh, Blake! Same old Blake. I smiled and punched him in the arm.

"So, where do you live?" He asked. "Turn left here. It's the driveway that travels into the woods." I directed. He nodded and took a left. He went a ways then turned down my driveway. "Okay, well. That wasn't really one of the best conversations we've ever had. But, we'll talk more later I guess." He shrugged. "Yeah, maybe we could hang out sometimes? I know my mom is dying to catch up with your mom on things."

Blake snapped his fingers. "Oh yeah! I still don't know why you're here you know. I mean, you'd be the last person I'd think would move up here. You loved the Bahamas." I looked at the ground. Too much pain washed over my face, that I don't think Blake needed to see. I tried to hide it but I could tell he picked up on my negative vibes. "You can tell me." He encouraged. "Well, my mom and dad got a divorce. Don't get me wrong, I was actually thankful that they did. I mean it was getting to the point where dad would bring home girls and mom would bring home guys and neither even cared. So, I chose to live with my mom, because I knew my dad would just be a lazy bum down there. You know." He nodded his head. "Yeah, I know your dad. Well, it's okay Amber. It looks like things aren't so bad up here." I smiled, thinking of AJ, then composed myself again. "Yeah, I'm doing alright. Thanks for the ride. And I promise, I'll call you soon so we can get together, all right?" He smiled and nodded, then hid his face. I think he may have been blushing. "Any time Amber, and please do." I shut the door and waved and Blake drove off.

AJ's pov

"Shut up AJ! You're such an idiot!" My big sister screamed at me. "What? I didn't even do anything! That was Bryce!" She rolled her hazel eyes and stormed off, her long blonde hair whipped and almost hit me in the face. Bryce snickered from beside me and I punched him in the arm. "Dude, what the heck! You always get me in trouble with her!" Bryce just rolled his eyes. "That's why you want to be born first. Too bad." He shook his head. "I thought you were supposed to be a big brother not an annoying idiot who blames everything on me." I spat. Bryce started walking away. "That's what big brothers do! Get used to it!" He yelled as he walked down the hall and turned into our room.

My dad walked around the corner. "AJ! Get going! We're leaving in five minutes!" I could not believe this. Now my dad was yelling at me. "I know! I know! I was getting ready! Just...give me a second!" I ran to my room. Bryce was still sitting on his bed texting someone. He chuckled and spun around.
